I visit Grosse Pointe only once or twice each year. Side street is always a must visit place! I am never disappointed here. The lemonade is tasty, and the Mac And cheese dinner With house salad is delicious! I love their homemade ranch dressing. The service is always great as is the ambience and variety of decorations. Keep up the lovely work, what a great spot! It is so cute.

Side Street Diner was overall amazing—some of the best diner food I’ve had! Their cinnamon raisin bread was sooo good. They also have cakes and baked goods that are definitely worth trying—the chocolate chip cookie was really good, and the cakes looked amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our server was fantastic—super personable and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’ll 100% be going back and bringing others with me. Highly recommend!

I had the roasted pork dinner & my friend had the meatloaf dinner. Both were very good. I also enjoyed this unique soup with kale, sausage, & beans with a French onion type broth. The roasted pork dinner was so good that I bought another as a carry out. I wasn't a big fan of the oatmeal raisin cookies but everything else was great! Definitely will be back again!

This is mine and my wife’s guilty pleasure in Grosse Pointe. The meatloaf dinner is fantastic, and so are the old school patty-melts. They Vanilla Caramel cake is outta sight, so was I think it was a strawberry lemonade cake that was freaking amazingly yummy!!! So sweet it will give you a toothache, but worth it ? Staff are all wicked friendly, make sure you’re well taken care of, and if you go there you won’t be disappointed. I guarantee ????
Parking: If you’re dining in then, you’re gonna have to pay for parking. That sucks, but that’s GP and Saint Clair Shores in general. Try their food. It’s out of this galaxy ??????

Happened upon this diner for lunch. Great menu and food was yummy. I would like to suggest to the staff that they keep their personal conversations until after work or at least out of earshot of the customers. There is no barrier between the restaurant and the area where the wait staff gather to put in and pick up orders etc. I was sitting close to that area and am able to tell you the details about a little gripe going on between the kitchen and wait staff. Be careful and be respectful of the customers. Thank you.
