Really liked the food BUT now that the pizza and calzones have been taken off the menu I doubt that my family of 6 will be eating there as often as before (8 visits in the past year). The removed items were really, really good. Sorry to see them gone.
Placed a carry-out order at 7:40pm through Google/Otter, estimated pick up time from Google was 8:06pm. At 8:06 we had yet to receive a confirmation email from the restaurant. I decided to call and inquire about the order once we got in the car and were on our way to Sidecar. On the phone, the host checked on our order and informed me that the order had not been "pushed through" but had been received and it would be ready when we got there. Had the opportunity to eat at sidecar slider bar last night for the first time on the hole. It was good experience, although I found it rather pricey for me the creativity of the sliders was really a welcome change from the typical burgers and sandwiches that you get around Grosse Pointe, however for $14 a slider, I would expect to get a freshly cooked ground beef patty and instead what I got was apparently precooked patties that maybe were kept warm in a serving tray or something...read full review
