The worst bar. Moscow Mules on special for $4 on happy hour. I ask the bartender if I can substitute whiskey for vodka for this price. He says, "Yes." I get the bill for $10 per Mule. I question him and he says different price for whiskey. I tell him that's not what he said. He will not change the bill. I will never return to the Whiskey 6 - horrible experience!

Great food for GP, which, for a community of wealth, has a dearth of good eateries. Fish and chips I had were nice and not greasy, fries on point. I'm glad that they had Pacific beer, it's a great beer with low alcohol content.Took awhile for the bartender to come around a couple of times, especially for a slow afternoon, so we didn't get to order as soon as would have liked, although maybe he thought we were just engaged in a conversation and didn't want to interrupt.Atmosphere here was kinda tired when they opened awhile back. Now it's exhausted and could really use something, ANYTHING, to make it inviting. I've seen better decoration in a trailer park.That said, I would rather go there for food and friends than anywhere else in the area.

Had a very good experience. Greeted in a friendly manner at the front. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable of the food and drink menu. The ambience was fun, lively, energetic. This is one of our favorite dining places for my wife, 2 adult sons, and I. This is one of our favorite places when we have friends come in from out of town.

NO idea why I haven't been back in so long but dinner was amazing, the entertainment was perfect and there is definitely sense of community at this restaurant. Easily a neighborhood favorite. Our server was perfectly attentive and our seating was cozy and roomy. We even got to celebrate a 67th anniversary with a couple who came in to do so. When I tell you the food is great but it's clear Whisky 6 brings people together, I mean that in every sense. Thanks for a great night.

My niece suggested that we go to The Whiskey Six and it is a beautiful place to sit down and unwind. The appetizers were delicious and the food was great. Whiskey six had always been a good place to go before Covid so I was interested to try it now. It was pretty average. The saganaki was sooo good! The pizza was pretty good too. Our server was very kind and funny. The restaurant is decorated pretty cool as well.
The food was very good; the same was the ambiance. Our server was just "ok." She could have been more attentive. It was a busy evening, and we know finding help is challenging, but attentiveness is important. I'd visit again.

Thought we would go here to try out the new owners. Ordered fish and chips. They were cold and soggy and they Cole slaw was warm. Lettuce wraps were chunky chicken with wilted romaine. Not crispy iceberg.

The Strand Magazine
A typical pub but in an affluent area, oftentimes that could mean overpriced and a place that gets a passing grade which in another area would be a failing grade. This place though had decent food, a towering chicken kebab with some great yogurt sauce. It seemed that most people ordered burgers rather than serous food! My group were not impressed with their food and thus the three stars. Service was solid and the place was clean but loud and on the cavernous side.

Just a couple things . . . First, the server was very nice, observant but not annoying. Second, the kitchen disregarded the request for no onion on the W6 burger, but otherwise food was tasty. The shrimp tacos are excellent. The nachos appetizer was so-so. Thanks for making sure each diner had a side plate to use. Third, we were told there would be live music starting at 6 pm, so the hostess gave us the option of sitting at a table away from the musician. I think music really adds to the experience, except Whiskey Six really needs to baffle the ceiling or do something to reduce the level of noise from the amps. The ranking for the noise level of "energetic" didn't really capture my opinion. We would have had a hard time conversing if we had sat closer to the musician. The new owners/management are doing a great job - always happy to see Matt tending the bar!
