We meet friends here often for dinner. Close location and always great service with very pleasant staff. Good food and beer selection.
Love the huge bar, which is always full of super nice patrons. Great food selections from burgers, pizza, fish, big salads, etc.
The food was undercooked however the Brussel sprouts were brunt. The food was not seasoned. I will not be visiting this location again.

The fish and chips are pretty good.
The salabar was okay, but it needed some attention, low on a lot of items.
The soups weren't good, I think they were set out too long. Our server was nice and had a good personality.

Very very racist restaurant, do not recommend going here at all. It’s unfortunate we still have to deal with this in today’s time.

Upon seeing posts of the salad bar at Village Grille in Grosse Pointe we were eager to try since finding a salad bar is few and far between nowadays. We were happy to see that a trip to the salad bar comes with an entree purchase. We wanted to try the onion soup and the waitress said it was on the bar and we could make our own french onion style because there were croutons and chesse it just wouldnt be baked. When we went to the soup area no onion soup was there so we asked the waitress if it was available and she said if it isnt there its an upcharge of $7.00. When we said we didnt need the french onion style just the soup she said it was still the upcharge. Wanting to try it for future trips we ordered. It had good flavor but so much bread the soup was soaked completely up. The salad bar had a good selection of toppings but the dressing choices were very limited. Ranch or a couple different vinaigrette choices. After that the meal went downhill. The chicken parm was dry to where we couldnt cut it, the spaghetti lacked all flavor and the bbq ribs were so hard they couldnt be cut. (The french fries were good tho) We were extremely disappointed and would not recommend from our experience.

Found a strand of hair in my daughter's food. The manager was very rude to my husband about the matter.

Fabulous food with a great variety that satisfies different palates. The staff is amazing and the service is friendly and quick. It's my go-to for a quick bite.
They are racist, the owner would rather not get involved when his customers are being insulted and harassed. I will never go back!

They don't appreciate ALL of their customers....particularly African Americans. Very disappointing.

This is a great little neighborhood spot to visit for good food & atmosphere. I've brought several friends here over the years, & they've all enjoyed it too. I ate here this evening with some friends, & once again, it was an enjoyable experience. Will definitely return again.
