“Went for lunch with my husband and I ordered County fried steak and eggs. The country fried steak was fork tender and delicious, eggs cooked perfectly with hash browns and toast. Everything was great my husband had an omelet and it was packed full and delicious. Our server was very patient and happy and attentive. We live in Hale and we need to get there more often.”

Was thrilled to hear they were getting back into the local food scene after they sold Main Street. The pizza is awesome but their other menu selections are really good too. The Lemon Pepper Chicken with Angel Hair Pasta is one of my favorites and the grinders are great too!”

“Great little find! Enjoyed the vibe and libations ! I especially enjoyed the FIZZ - even got a growler of it to go! Better then a seltzer and tangy - quite refreshing. The owners were all working including the daughter. It was nice to see a family biz doing well. However, a little more personable would have been nice when sitting at the bar and asking questions. I hope they bring in food bc popcorn and chips only goes so far.”

“A small town tavern with big personality. Of course, the Hard Hat offers up a wide variety of beers and mixed drinks, but do not miss out on the burgers! And if you're getting a burger, I have two words for you ... Bacon Jam! My go-to burger is the jalapeño burger with bacon jam and I have them add a couple slices of bacon to top it off. If you like your food to have a little kick, it's a can't miss meal! Often times the service can be a little laid back, and this is not a fast food joint. Come in and be prepared to sit a spell, chat with friends and patrons, and enjoy a freshly prepared delicious burger at a true roadside watering hole.”

“Pizza is ok, really enjoyed the French dip sandwich! Didn't really care for the stromboli, cheese lacking flavor. Service is very good, very outdated interior but has a lot of character due to how old it is, did notice it was clean inside, not one of those stale beer smelling bars.”
