Dos Locos, you drive me loco!
Dos Locos is my favorite late night spot, whether I’m having a somber sober evening or a silly sloshed night I am always filled with joy the moment the taco lips grace my own. Everything is extremely fresh and flavorful. I have tried nearly everything at Dos Locos. At this point you could say I got my doctorate in tacos and this journey we are about to embark upon is my dissertation. Let’s run through a few of my favorite items together. But first let’s lay down some Pro tips. 1. Any taco can be turned into a burrito. 2. Tacos are a great go to if you want to mix and match to get a smorgasbord of different proteins. 3. If you’re not feeling adventurous or you’re one of those freaks that knows exactly what you want stick to a burrito and maybe get a taco on the side. 4. If you despise the mere idea of a chihuahua being milked you can swap out the cheese for guacamole in a burrito. 5. If you love milking chihuahuas get a quesadilla. 6. Nachos are great for sharing and make a surprisingly good breakfast the next morning. Now with all that out of the way let’s get into the goodies 😈 The fish taco is light and fresh. The battered cod filet is fried in gods image, paired with a tangy and smooth avocado salsa balanced out by a sweet pineapple salsa and finished off with beautiful amethyst cabbage that adds a satisfying crunch. I personally switch out the corn tortilla with a soft and fluffy flour tortilla to keep the chefs on their toes. The lamb burrito is another one of my favorites. Every bite I get an uncontrollable urge to say “baaaaahhhhh!” And to nestle at the feet of my friend named Mary. The flour tortilla is filled to the brim with rice, beans, avocado salsa, onions, amethyst cabbage and sorcery. The keen lamb is mystical and filled with love, I’m assuming from Mary. You said you’re looking for a meal deal? Look no further than the birria tacos. 3 tacos packed with shredded luscious brisket topped with cilantro and onion. A side of rice that would make Claudia Sheinbaum shed a tear of joy. But here’s the kicker that brings it all together it comes with consommé which is liquid gold as far as I’m concerned. Throw that ish on everything and if you still have more when ur done eating slurp it straight. Thank you for joining me for part 1 out of 5 I will see you in part 2 and onward.
Oh and lastly the staff is always super sweet make sure you tip them well! A lot of care and effort goes into making you’re meal :)

What Dos Locos Tacos did to me last night should be illegal. After eating here I can never enjoy Mexican food again because it will never be as good as what I ate at dos los tacos. I took a bite of the carne asada quesadilla and my mind was blown. I thought, “my lord that was the best tasting quesadilla I’ve ever had” and I love quesadillas. Then I tried the lamb quesadilla (my gf and I got a few dishes to share and try okay, don’t judge me. My only regret was not getting more. We still have 2 more items left to explain.) The lamb quesadilla gave me the same experience. I was beside myself with joy and flabbergasted that this was a very normal/fair priced restaurant. From the flavor of the meat to the perfect ratios of meat, cheese, and veggies and the perfect level of crunch from the grilled quesadilla. This place had become my favorite Mexican restaurant in just two bites. Then I tried the beef empanada. That was amazing. Then a bite of the beef chorizo taco. Truly a delight. I honestly don’t know which dish I liked the most. Everything slapped harder than Will Smith. If I had to rank it I’d go lamb and carne asada quesadilla tied for first. Empanada and taco tied for second. I can’t wait to go back and try the Birria dishes.

Miss the only locations next door but other than a change it atmosphere everything’s the same! Always a good choice for a quick bite
Very affordable and fun menu, serving truly good food in good portions. Tried the carne adada and jackfruit tacos. Both were good. Next goal is eating through the menu. A favorite late night and quick dinner stop.
Came in not long after opening hours, ordered and was told they had no chicken. I walked here so chose to order differently but did not enjoy the taste of my meal and left disappointed. Salsa was good though and I did enjoy the space and service. Not planning to come back but I hope the experience is better if I do.

Dos Locos has always been a favorite and a must-stop when we are in the area for a show at The Sanctuary. Their new remodel looks great and offers much more seating capacity! The bathroom was also clean. I got the beef chorizo taco and the spicy shrimp taco, both were exceptional! We'll definitely be back soon.
