Went when it was close to closing, took a while to be serviced. Food was decent but they ran out of most of meats, so I didn't get the full experience.

$30 for 3 gentrified and not even authentic tacos and it taking 30 minutes to make is absolutely ridiculous.
I’m not expecting gold here but definitely not expecting substandard service for that price.

Ordered carne asada quesadillas like I always do and really had a taste for this. Got home and they changed the way that they prepare their carne asada. Previously, it was shredded and now it’s ground and dry as ever.
Got home and ready to eat to find this out. Called the store and spoke to June who said it was made to order and despite them changing it and no indication on the menu or in the store, there was nothing they could do. No compensation, refund or anything. I’m just stuck with $20 worth of quesadillas that I don’t want. The meat is tough and dry.
Continuously cut off in sentence while explaining frustration, as anyone would be frustrated getting something they didn’t expect.
Asked for manager - they are closest thing to manger and “because they are a small business, no idea when the owner Mike will be back in.” I manage a small restaurant and have constant communication with the owner and can reach out when necessary, as well as when we make changes, we note that in our store, even with a sign, or menu.
Of course, out of frustration I started swearing but because who constantly wants to be cut off. I get fit was closing but you couldn’t care less about your customers and that’s sad. I spent my hard earned money on something that now I don’t even want.

Back home in town from FL, I really wanted to like this place, horribly disappointed, the Birria meat tasted like it had been in the freezer for 3 months, below subpar and I don’t know how this place has 4.2 stars, genuinely sorry

I was excited because of the 4.5 rating, but... Salty, no taste and dry meat. 3 out of 4 people didn't like their meal, the 4th didn't eat.

Best Mexican food in the area. Good prices and good service.
They over priced...and they don't know what a damn quesadilla is if it hit em in the face....they served me a taco 🌮 as a quesadilla talking about its a small One....like what!!! If u want a small portion for a big amount this is your spot....your better off going to a coney or even Taco Bell

I have been in love with this place since they were next door “IYKYK”.
The food is always amazing and refreshing, along with the atmosphere and service. Saturday night with a group of friends or a great date night this is your place. Authentic Mexican cuisine at 1am …. Let’s head to “Dos Locos”!! Forever my place

Holy Empanada, this late night food hit the spot! Kayla greeted us immediately when we popped in at midnight, after a gig at Ghost Light. I am used to Lansing, when most kitchens close by 10pm, so it was great to be warmly greeted, and service was quick. We ordered some tacos and empanadas to go, but then decided to eat them inside because we were hungry. Kayla offered waters and brought extra napkins and made us feel welcome. I ordered one beef and one chicken empanada. The beef was delicious, and the chicken was out of this world. The flaky pastry was perfectly fried and had that melt-in-your-mouth texture. Both of them were succulent and exactly what I needed before the drive home. I would come back to Hamtramck for these empanadas. Thanks Kayla and kitchen staff!

Horchata tasted like cinnamon water…not in a good way. I couldn’t taste anything but clove in the birria tacos. The quesadilla was dry. All they gave was lime and hot sauce. The rice was dry as well like it’d been sitting. Overall I’m disappointed in the experience but the take out lady was awesome and funny so service gets a 5.

Damn good tacos. Authentic. Chill vibes. Menu is on point. Tacos and atmosphere remind me of San Diego.

I had the birria tacos. Way too salty for my taste. I understand that the consomme is meant to be salty but the tacos themselves were also salty leading to an overpowering of saltiness.
Also, could really use some mayo or yoghurt based sauce on the taco to add flavor.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant. I had to wait on a cashier for 5 minutes to just take my order. One item I ordered was a crispy burrito, and I was told the wait time would be 15 minutes max. I actually had to wait over 30 minutes. The food was decent but could've been better. The restaurant wasn't too clean. The cashier was friendly.
