Man I wanted a good hot cup of coffee on my work break. I was served way less with a burnt cup of coffee no half and half as ordered- and a cinnamon roll that was hard and never offered to heat up- just stuck it in a bag.

☹️ Negative/Cons - not ideal for work meetings some days - staff play loud music some times and they didn’t used to blast it this loud. It’s loud by meeting standards. Some people do work here at this shop and it’s hard to do customer calls some days depending on the staff and the volume of background music.vThat’s the Only reason I didn’t give it a 5/5

Love to pair the brown sugar draft with the Holbrook. I sub pastrami instead of chicken; hands down easily the best deli sandwich! The croissants are amazing with their hot lattes too. So glad they opened up in Hamtramck! Favorite cafe to stop by right now.

The service was good but there wasn’t too many menu options. The vibes inside of the store were great and the coffee tasted good.

Was in town for an extended weekend and ended up coming here each of the five days of our trip. Coffee and espresso drinks are great. They use La Colombe beans which is solid. Each morning we paired our coffees with a sandwich and a sweet treat, working through their sandwich menu almost entirely. The Holbrook was delicious, especially if you like a (very) spicy kick. We also had the Caniff, the Gallagher, the Breakfast Sandwich, and the Holbrook again the last day (asked to sub mayo for the fiery sauce which tamed the spice). Each sandwich was excellent.
Beyond the food and drinks, the team there were amazingly hospitable. We were immediately recognized on just the second day back. And by the third day, she knew our names. The vibes were so welcoming. Clientele are a great representation of the community that is Hamtramck. We shared the space with everyone from students working on laptops, to businesspeople in suits, to a group of Bangladeshi ladies on a weekday coffee hangout.
This place won me over. Looking forward to coming back.

I usually love coming here. The coffee is great, and I wanted to try some food today, but I am disappointed in the service today. I made an online order and it seemed like it was never even looked at. The barista working seemed so deep in convo with someone that after 15 minutes of waiting, I decided I needed to interrupt the conversation she was having and just cancel my order.
