Awesome selection of baked desserts to choose from! I frequent here since moving to Hamtramck! Plus they have the best flavors of Paczki by far!

Customer service was good, but the cupcakes tasted like they had been sitting for about a week. What Shame because I bet theyd taste really good if they were fresh. For 7 dollars a cupcake id expect them to be fresh, maybe put them 50% of or something if you want to get rid of them.

You will not find a better bakery anywhere on the planet. Truly old world charm and service! Must try the almond poppy roll as well as the paczki. Don’t forget your rye bread as well as your pierogi.

Best sourdough rye bread! All the pastries are delicious, too. Staff is exceptional and friendly and go above and beyond and have a unique history to tell. Can’t miss this stop if you’re in the Detroit area!

We spent $44 on donuts, kolaczki, and assorted other cookies, All were bland and/or stale. One cookie had a bug in it. We found this bakery way overpriced and the quality and flavor lacking.

Stopped in prior to a job and they have paczski's all year round. I got one because I have missed them the past couple of years. Grew up in Warrendale Detroit and they had all the things I grew up and wanting to find, but it is hard to find a good polish bakery now a days. I got many things and have not tried them all yet, but those bear claws were loaded with apples and super soft and moist. One of the best I have had. I know that paczki is gonna be fire and can not wait to have it later. I know this place has lines out the door for them.

50.00 and I was very disappointed as I live in NORTHERN MICHIGAN SO I HAD THE ORDER MAILED AND POSTAGE WAS QUIT HIGH. RYE BREAD WAS TASTING A FEW DAYS OLD AND THE HAUKASWEET BREAD WAS ALSO NOT GREAT ANGEL WINGS WERE THICK. NOT THIN WE HAVE A POLISH RESTERANT IN HARBOR SPRINGS THAT MAKES THEM GREAT POWDERD SUGAR AND THIN VERY DISSAPPOINTEDNEVER AGAIN...........

New Palace is a traditional Polish bakery that does a lot of things, a few of them really well. Their paczkis are the main reason to come, but unfortunately they were sold out when I came today (just 15 minutes after opening!). I was disappointed, but got a few other things to try.

Outside the paczkis, their doughnuts are really good (unsurprisingly, as paczkis are essentially just Polish doughnuts). I also really enjoyed the shortcake, the savory pastries, and the turnover. The rest of the items I tried were decent but nothing special.

I'll come by again soon to get more paczkis!

We had a cake made by them, and the sweetness was perfectly balanced. The people working there are very knowledgeable about cakes, and give suggestions that are very helpful, from serving sizes to decorations.
