One of the best Yemeni food in the US. Worth it to visit Michigan and try the food. Must try their Lamb Haneeth and any lamb items. Love their Family Platter.

THIS WAS THE BEST FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I can't believe it. Everything was incredible. The lamb stew, the fattoush, the HUMMUS!? EVEN THE HUMMUS WAS LITERALLY THE BEST HUMMUS I'VE EVER TRIED EVER!!!!! We got the chicken shawarma w hummus... just amazing. Maybe I'm just naive but literally the fattoush was the best salad I've ever eaten. Anyway. Ugh I wish I didn't live so far away but you best believe next time I'm anywhere near the area, THAT'S where I'm going. Best food!!!!!!

Food is great. But it’s chaos in there. Waiters are all over the place, you’re always waiting for a waiter forever and they don’t write your order down and sometimes not always they mess your orders up. The seating arrangement is very strange too in the back, you’re basically on top of each other. But I think there’s a beauty to a place like this. For any one who has visited foreign countries there’s a slight home feeling when you’re here no matter if you’re Yemeni or not.

My brother has gone here so often and took me here with my parents and his friends and I had an utterly wonderful time! So much variety in the dishes! The bread was also just amazing, wish we had more for the food~

Absolutely phenomenal food!! We got the platter for four. All of the meat was falling off of the bone and the rice and vegetables were perfectly seasoned. Everything was perfect, even the salad and the bread! Favorites around our table were the toum sauce (the white sauce) and the Fahsah stew. They also brought us some of the best tea I've ever had. Thank you Yemen Cafe!!

They were able to accommodate 10 of us taking a food tour. We got the platter for 4 people and it was plenty of food! The lamb fahsah with their bread was to die for. They also had this garlic cream that was incredible on the bread as well. When we first came in they gave us all tea that was warm and sweet which was great for the snowy day in Detroit.
