These are the best pasties! My husband had the beef and I had the vegetable pasty. It's hard to find a veggie pasty that doesn't include cheese, broccoli, spinach etc. This was just what I wanted a traditional Cornish pasty with potatoes, carrots, rutabaga and salt and pepper. Both were excellently seasoned. It's worth a trip to Hancock for Amy J's alone. We also give high marks for the cookies.

Wonderful homemade pastys! Super helpful nice service!
They sell them hot to eat and cold to take for later! We ate them hot in the spot and took some for later! I would lunch here every day if I could! One of my faves! Also, fab choc chip cookies 🍪

I stopped in just as they opened on a Monday and ordered a large pasty with meat. I also got a bran muffin and peanut butter cookie. The pasty was outstanding! The best combination/proportion of beef and vegetables I’ve ever had in a pasty. The crust was a great compliment. My vote for #1 in the UP!!! The muffin and cookie were also very good. I’ll definitely make the effort to stop whenever I’m in the area.
