They had a fixed menu for restaurant week and the dishes weren't as delicious as those that are on their regular menu.

Ben was an engaging and attentive server. We were very pleased with our dining experience!

Good ski instructors and staff, nice alpine environment. When we needed help with something though, phone help was non existent. Several calls, finally gave up after several minutes on hold, from several calls. Real disappointment. Really a let down from a business that claims to be a very customer-first business. Calls were mid week, around 11:20 - 11:45.

This resort has incredible value- so impressed! An impeccable quality of service. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. We had Champagne and cookies provided to us upon arrival, the rooms were beautifully upgraded/ maintained, the skiing was challenging, and the hot tub area with poolside service was perfect. Food was consistently good in all of the restaurants we tried. Definitely will be back!

Food was not good-entre (filets) not cooked correctly. Scallops were grainy & cold. Very slow service.

The place never disappoints! The best skiing in the lower peninsula of Michigan by far!! Been going here with friends and family for years! The runs feel a little longer and better than sister resort Boyne Mountain.

We found this gem through a TikTok and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. It was the perfect stop as we made our way to the UP. Close to the entrance to the Tunnel of Trees. The resort is beautiful. The rooms were very sleek and the bed was so comfortable. The restaurant on site served delicious food and the staff were fun and friendly. The outdoor pool and hot tub were still open and very warm. Perfect for a fall evening. Our only regret was that we only had time to stay one night.

We stayed at the heather highlands part of this very large resort. The place is very time stamped from the 1990’s. It is primarily a ski/golf resort. It’s decor is Nordic / Scottish golf themed. We communicated with the front desk staff prior to our checking via text. My advice is to call to triple check any upgrade arrangements. Our room was very dated, but mostly functional. The Murphy bed mattress needs to be replaced. Springs came out of the pull out sofa. Great coffee pot, functional mini kitchen. The pool at the heather highlands is d**** It is situated right next to a giant air conditioner. The pool deck needs a power wash. The a/c does not allow for a peaceful swim at all. The they also do not provide towels. We used the pool at the main lodge which was much nicer and with a better view. Towels were provided at that pool. This place is just OK. We saw almost no staff while we were around the resort. Not that we needed any, but it seems sparsely staffed. The location is very peaceful and there are lots of walking trails and pretty views. We would have loved a ride on the ski lift, but it rained. We didnt take advantage of any dining options on the property, so we can’t comment on those.

Unfortunately, Taco Night at the Seminole Pub was a bust. The food arrived cold, was bland and just not good at all. The chicken chipotle taco was flavorless and overloaded with sour cream. The shrimp tacos had a very small type of shrimp that was rubbery and did not have much flavor at all. Again, the shrimp tacos were overloaded with sour cream and some other kind of sauce. The best thing I can say about the dishes were that the corn tortillas were fresh. Also had the chips and queso which was the star of the night. Again, it was a low bar given the bad tacos on a supposed Taco Night, but the queso was served hot and had a nice spice level. The chips were also very good and seemed to be made in house. Great corn taste and very fresh tasting. The deconstructed elotes were not good. The corn was not fresh and was obvioulsy frozen corn given the fact that there was a lot of water in the dish and how soggy the corn was. The dish was more of a corn soup or creamed corn than anything else and was quite bland and loaded with some kind of flavorless sauce. Our server Ben was very attentive, and kept the cocktails coming, which was a good thing.

We actually ate at a private event but the food was excellent. Very thoughtful and modern for a country club, and absolutely delicious.

What an amazing vacation! On our opening day our four-some played 18 holes at The Alpine to begin our golf adventure. The course conditions were spectacular and the greens were as slick as clean glass. On the second day we opened with the Links and The Quarry at Bay Harbor. The views are breathtaking throughout the course. The finishing hole at the quarry is remarkable. Bay Harbor was truly a great golf experience. For the afternoon we played 18 holes at Crooked Tree. The course conditions were exceptional and it was great experience. On our third day we played 18 hikes at Arthur Hills. The course had a lot of relief and up and downs. There was a great deal of cart driving to get from hole to hole. Conditions were outstanding. For the afternoon we played 18 at the Donald Ross Memorial. The conditions were outstanding. On our final golf day we played 18 in the morning at The Heather and in the afternoon we played 18 at The Moor. The golf conditions were exceptional at every course. If the PGA is looking for additional locations to host events they should seriously consider the Boyne family of courses. The Heather Highlands Townhouse was clean and it was convenient to have space for our four-some. They are conveniently located for travel to the courses on the second and third days of our trip. This was a great vacation!

We enjoyed our stay with the highlands. The staff was super nice and every friendly. We definitely will come back. It was a lot of our kids first time snowboarding and they loved it. Our house we rented was clean and we were super satisfied.

Had an amazing time with friends! Room was very nice and well taken care of. The indoor/outdoor hot tub was a great way to relax after a full day of snowboarding. Excellent food as well!l at the slope side lounge.

1) Lorna at the slope side bar in the highlands over heard mmmmnv I myself and 3 of my friends about how we were staying in an Airbnb and had forgotten our lettuce. She took it upon herself to get get some shredded lettuce from the kitchen in a to go box and brought it to us when we cashed out at the bar. The kindness is so epic! 2) Becky at the front desk helped us too! We wanted to go ski more but didn’t know what to do with the lettuce that Lorna gave us, and Becky offered to hold it for us! Yet another example of kindness! Thank you Lorna and Becky! Pat Vigneron

We stayed Sun-Thur for a business trip. It was my first time skiing and our first trip to MI. The newly renovated room in the main lodge had everything we needed - comfy bed, robes, great water pressure, shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Skiing lessons were excellent. We had Kris for our beginners group and I can’t believe how much I learned in just a few days. We t was easy to ski in/out of the lodge, eat lunch or dinner and relax. The breakfast buffet was great and enough food we sometimes skipped lunch. The slopes were fun for me as a beginner and my husband who has much more experience. The food was really good - we loved having room service as an option and the food was prompt and hot! Everyone at the resort couldn’t have been nicer and more welcoming. It was such a relaxing, quiet, and safe little resort anyone could enjoy. My only wish would be to have more restaurant options for lunch/dinner but I suspect staffing/COVID was the limiting factor there. We’d recommend it and return.
