First night at Boyne and after a long day of travelling, we opted to dine locally. it was busy so we understand slower service. Service was lacking, server surly, fries cold and over salted. I suggest dining off property — which is unfortunate as the hotel renovations are stunning.

Great food, but most importantly, they have a separate fryer for people who are gluten free, meaning my 7 year old son could have the gluten free burger and fries he craved! I highly suggest advertising this on the find me gluten free app and the other gluten free pages as you will for sure get business from people with celiac disease and those who eat a gluten free lifestyle.

We were the only table in the room. 4 tables came in after us and they all got waited on immediately. We were never even greated (12 minutes) before i got up. I had to go get the manager who just said "OH" then the hostess said they would get someone over. The person who waited on us took 2 more minutes to come to the table. The waiter apologized for "missing" us but the manager never did. He then said "we are not busy so this shouldn't take long". The manager spent the whole time talking to the staff. The place is filthy with food all over the chairs and floors (again, "their not busy"). What saved this from being a one star review was the food. I had the salmon berry salad and it was very good. This establishment is not managed at the standards of the rest of the resort. The manager needs some serious training! Come to find out one of the tables next to us that was waited on immediately were employees.

Service was terrible. Took 20 minutes just to get our drink order taken. Another 15 minutes after that just to get our drinks. Took us over an hour and a half to eat before we could get to the arcade.
