As a longtime patron who has enjoyed The Pier for years, my recent visit with a party of eight was a disappointment on nearly every level. It's clear that the ownership change about a year ago has had a significant and negative impact on what was once a premier dining experience in Harbor Springs.

Customer service was bad at the hostess station. They were not busy at the time. It took 2 people to find out if a table was available. We walked back out. Wednesday at noon in September.
Okay, first time here. Restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the wait staff seems very friendly and helpful.
Ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was very tasty and the seafood Chowder was amazing. But the Walleye was tasteless. If it wasn't for the mashed potatoes and carrots you wouldn't know it was there. Daughter ordered Lobster Carbonara and it was almost tasteless and lobster was over cooked and a bit rubbery.
