Food was great! Steak was tender, and french onion is very nice but a little too salty. Lost a star because it was really hard to breathe inside, there is way too much smoke. I think they should install an exhuast at each table.
Very disappointing. Should’ve known after walking into the bathroom and it being dirty but gave it a chance anyway since I was hungry and already there. Cleanliness should be a basic standard for any restaurant.
Love this place. Return often, try new things, enjoy the great service.
What happened to this place? Haven’t been here in a few years since I’ve moved out of state. Food was terrible and it’s so dirty/smokey in there. The meat is not what it used to be and everything else looked like it was just slapped on plates. Service was okay but that was just about the only pleasant thing about our experience.
This was our first time here and we loved. My wife has a gluten intolerance and our waitress was extremely helpful. The food was also amazing (try the Brussels sprouts)!
The food was great and our waitress Madison was awesome!
Cool concept!
Another great steak and crab Saturday
Really enjoyed the experience. It was quiet birthday celebration. The steak on the stone was amazing. Pretzel appetizer was amazing. Excellent side salad. The lave dessert could not be finished by 4 of us. Amazing. Jason the server was so attentive and made the experience much more personal!

We've been going to Black Rock for years for birthdays and when family is in town. Unfortunately, the quality and service have greatly declined each time we've gone there. Most recently, we were seated next to a very drafty emergency exit and had to wear coats to feel anything more than frigid. The "premium" fries were served with not only a literal lump of seasoning just sitting in the middle but also cold. The bagged lettuce in the salads was frozen. One of our orders had a miscooked steak, cold potato, and flat soda to top it off. The service was almost as cold as the draft and sides, though the manager did come by to ensure that orders were fixed and comped one of the meals.
Sadly, Black Rock has fallen from its former glory, in our opinion. We will be looking at Diamonds or even Texas Roadhouse the next time we want to steak for dinner.

Me and my Wife have been coming to the Original Black Rock since it opened on day 1.
The entire team at this Black Rock is exceptional. From hostess, to servers, to management and upper management. They are all 5 Star. There was a miscommunication with seating which left a delay in our service. Once noted the entire team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
Thank You Again for Everything

Great atmosphere and outstanding service by Tony, our bartender and server. Appetizers were delicious (Sizzling Shrimp and Egg Rolls).
