When we were left slightly less than satisfied with something (some cold green beans lol) she went above and beyond to fix it. We will be back and will be asking to sit in Michelle’s section.”

“We have ordered from this restaurant a few times already in 2024, and everytime the food has been amazing! We had some issues with the DoorDash app while ordering this through DoorDash - however the restaurant compensated us and ensured we were still satisfied, great service and great food!! Definitely worth it.”

“Saturday, March 16 approximately 5 pm). We originally went to the area because our favorite Mexican restaurant (Mexican Fiesta) had a power outage so we were on the hunt for another Mexican place and happened upon this one. We were seated immediately, and the chips and salsa arrived soon thereafter. Chips were good, typical of most restaurants and still warm. The salsa was excellent, perhaps the best part of the meal and probably why they sell it by the pint or quart. Lots of cilantro but not too spicy, and a bit thin. Usually Mexican restaurants bring a mild and a hot salsa around here, but we were absolutely fine with theirs, it was delicious (I love cilantro). We each had the combination plates, I had a tostada, chalupa and a beef taco. The usual beans and rice accompanied our meal and they were ok. Nothing spectacular, but good, if a bit bland. My wife had tacos and enjoyed them, but she’s a pickier eater than I am, and didn’t care for the beans, feeling that they weren’t seasoned enough. Her favorite Mexican food is fish tacos and this restaurant didn’t offer them, so she was disappointed from the start, and I often order fish or shrimp tacos, but am able to be happy with just about anything as a substitute. I generally like to order soup when we go anywhere, and would have here, but the only options are dinner sized portions of a Mexican chicken and a seafood soup, which sound good but unavailable as a smaller side portion. We will go back again for the food, and will try some other offerings, but not right away. As for service, our waiter was nice, but about four others also brought chips, drink refills, checked to see if our food was ok, and brought boxes for leftovers, including a refill on the salsa, which was appreciated. The check was delivered by someone other than our waiter almost as soon as we finished eating and before the takeout boxes, probably because it was starting to get busy (it wasn’t when we arrived, but now it was about 6 pm). I paid right away and the payment was collected when the boxes were brought. I felt slightly rushed at this point but we’re the type that tries to be cognizant of people waiting to eat and not tie up a table longer than needed anyway. All in all, a good experience and good food.Parking: This is in a strip mall, so there is plenty of free parking, including ample handicapped spaces.”

“Wow! Not only is the food amazing, ownership here is excellent. If you get the chance to support this business, please do. We have ordered catering multiple times from here and have always been thrilled, as have our guests. We had a small miscommunication on our catering order today and the owner jumped into action to save my party. He was so kind. I have nothing but wonderful things to say. Food is great!!”

“Christmas Day take out order was fabulous. The order was ready right on time. The food was delicious-- chicken with cashew nuts, chicken Hunan, pepper beef with onions and fried dumplings. The person picking up our order commented on how friendly and organized the staff was. It couldn't have been better.”

“I want to give a special thanks to Ben.I ordered pick up 2 days ago and when I picked it up, the order was missing a topping. I was very anxious to speak up and mention this, but I drove back around thankfully Ben was the one at the window.I am on the spectrum & it is very hard for me to articulate properly as I have expressive aphasia. I started stuttering and was very anxious to address this but instantly, Ben was so compassionate.He handled that situation with positive energy, sincere understanding, patience grace & compassion. They remade my pizza and put my wings back in the warmer for me too.When I drove back around to pick up the pizza, I tipped Ben extra and thanked him for his patience and for how he treated me. It can be very nerve racking with expressive aphasia and needing to articulate when an order isn’t exactly right.I hope management shows proper appreciation to Ben & team because it’s the employees who make it break the environment and they are lucky to have him there.We are all lucky to have him there and if you want amazing food, next level customer service & one heck of a great overall experience - ask for Ben at the hartland location!And if you are neurodivergent, know that Ben has your back. 100/10.
