“THE best Specialty market in Livingston County, and a long-time favorite of mine!! Since I moved, this is the place I miss most!! One of the few places I can get some mini GLASS bottles of liquor, and widest variety of liquor, beer, wine. I really love the selection of both hot & chilled take-away foods and meals via containers, as well as the counter-to-order choice! Friendly staff, clean store, always stocked. I stop in at the Michigan Ave location every time I’m in Howell!!”

“Unfortunately, this Tony Sacco's has gone downhill. The overall quality of their pizzas just isn't the same. I am not sure what has happened. It isn't just today. I noticed the quality go down a while ago but I kept giving them a chance and today was the last straw. The sauce and the crust were not good. I was also questioning the cheese as being real. I won't be coming back. Hard to find good pizza nowadays.

UPDATE...I gave Tony Sacco's one last chance and the pizza this time was very good. I think I am more of a purist when it comes to pizza. I ordered the Boss which has a lot of toppings and I didn't taste the sauce and cheese. This time I ordered just Pepperoni. Now I can taste the sauce and the cheese.”

“This is the best Thai food ever. My personal favorite is the Pad Thai chicken with lemon but I've never been disappointed with a meal. I have to watch spicy food so I order no spice but even mild is quite spicy according to friends. Always worth the drive.”

“Very clean little restaurant. I dont know if there is dining during specific hours but i just picked up my order. I had mushroom egg foo young which was very good. The vegy fried rice had good vegetables and wasnt greasy but it had good flavor. I also had mixed vegetabkles in brown sauce. You could actually taste the carrots. Very good.”

“I live out of state and have never stepped foot in Howell, MI, but wanted to get a friend of mine a few treats for his birthday. I called to store to ask if they would deliver something to a business across the street, so I could avoid paying door dash to deliver something 200 feet away. While it was quite an unconventional request, they were happy to accommodate. Both girls I talked to were so sweet and helpful. I picked a dollar amount and they filled a box with all kinds of delicious goodies and delivered it today. Based on what they included in the box, I think he got a ton of delicious stuff for the price. My friend said everything was incredible and he's going to start going there now. 5 star experience for sure! 10/10 would order from them again!”

“If you are a dog owner, then this is the place for you! Have you been looking for just the right thing to reward your pet with? But at the same time you want to make sure that it’s healthy and doesn’t have things that are not good, or just less than ideal for your pet. The owner of Howl About It Bakery takes the best care by testing out all her products on her animals so that she can make adjustments for just the right ingredients, amounts, flavors, etc. If that’s not enough, she takes it a step farther and gets everything tested and then gets it approved by the Department of Agriculture.

I honestly don’t know if there’s a product that can say they do all of this while only using the best of ingredients like farm fresh eggs, homegrown fruits like blueberries, and even the latest which is fresh goat’s milk because she’s trying to create ice cream for dogs to go with her birthday cakes.

This is the real deal people. She does everything she can to ensure that your fur babies are getting the best treats possible, and if that’s not amazing enough, she makes sure that it doesn’t hurt your bank account. These are the most affordable dog treats I’ve ever purchased and my dogs love them!! I am honestly so glad that I found her. I met her a year ago at the Howell Farmer’s Market and then lost touch and couldn’t find the name of the business. So, needless to say, I was so excited when I ran into her again today.

On that note, I want to make it clear that I wasn’t even asked to go on here and leave a review. In fact I never do! And the first one deleted - Grrrr! - but she deserves a million five-star reviews so here we are!! I actually wanted to find her address because she does off-season sales that you can pick up at her house. I was trying to add her address into my saved locations and saw that I could write a review. So I did and then accidentally deleted it!

Anyway, this woman (embarrassed that I didn’t ask her name) is absolutely amazing and works hard and just loves animals! This is where I want to put my money, and know that I’m giving my dogs their best life.

“I stopped by the Back Road Bake Shed this morning to pick up a cake I ordered for my son’s birthday. Somehow there was a miscommunication about the pickup date and the cake was not ready when I arrived. The owner SPRUNG into action and made my cake in less then 30 minutes. Because of my wait she gave me a much larger cake to rectify the issue. Now THIS is customer service! We finally got a chance to taste the cake, and let’s just say this… saying it tastes AMAZING is an UNDERSTATEMENT! Absolutely phenomenal bakery with a fantastic owner/staff. A MUST try!”

“I was so incredibly disappointed, with my 1st time visit here, considering all the "rave" reviews. We went for our 24th anniversary, so I ordered the ribeye $31. plate. per menu it stated a loaded baked potato. I ordered steak medium rare. No baked potato it was a scoop of mashed, (which I swear was instant). My poor ribeye was brown and dry. Not to mention it was less than 1/4 inch thick. You ask why I didn't complain or send back? My husband's plate arrived, he was happy with it so I just wanted to finish our "special" day, and we had other timed plans to attend to. I truly hope my sad dinner was a fluke, but my goodness what a disappointment ☹️”

“I made a DoorDash order and it wouldn’t let me make adjustments to my order.
I called the White Castle and was told that my order was not in yet.
(I called right after I placed the order).

Adan called me back about 10 minutes later letting me know he got my order and he would be making sure he did what I asked.
Aden was polite, respectful and ensured my order was accurate.

It doesn’t seem like much but good customer service of any kind is so hard to find in places today. Fast food workers are overworked and underpaid and deserve recognition.
