We’ve been ordering Gus’ for years for small family parties but I think last night will be our last time. We’ve had small issues here and there through the years (most often missing items that were purchased - so check your orders!) but last night’s quality left a lot to be desired. We ordered two 3# pans of mostaccioli, a medium chef’s salad, two bags of breadsticks, and a 16pc lemon pepper seasoned chicken. In total our order was $130. The chicken was absolutely awful - dry, lacking flavor, and the pieces were so small. The drumstick had literally one small forkful of meat on it (barely even a bite). The breast was so tough and lacked flavor altogether. A few of us tried the chicken and we ended up just throwing it all away. Literally threw $33+ in the trash. The breadsticks were smaller than we remember and a little tougher than usual, but good flavor nonetheless. The mostaccioli was as expected, has always been a crowd favorite here. The chef’s salad was big and fresh and the ranch was tasty as always. We might consider a small weeknight meal here with mostaccioli again, but honestly, I won’t rely on Gus’ for a special event again. The prices have gone up and the food quality is mid. I also ordered it online through Toast to be picked up at 5:30pm. It was not ready on time and we had to wait.

I ordered a full bag, and ranch. she gave me a half bag, and no ranch.
I come here all the time, and I've never had this happen before. I'm a cook. I work as a cook professionally. I understand having a long day, or just a bad one.
but come on. 10 dollars for half a bag of bread sticks and no ranch?

Greek salads and other goodies I've lived off almost all my life ... since my grandma & pa Jeffers took me to Fenton House I believe at age 9... ANYWAYS... GUS'S bread sticks and salads and famous Greek dressing Is Exactly like Fenton House in Fenton, MI, but located in Howell! Super fast service ... smiling, happy, young, fresh faces leave u feeling warm and happy! My daughter Rachel finally told me about this hidden GEM!!! Check it out ppl it's really really good! 😋

I have loved Gus‘s food since before I moved to Texas way back when I was still in Michigan girl some 30+ years ago. I am checking in on my nephew to see how he’s getting on and celebrating my birthday while I’m here. We got a carry out dinner for six including a pan of lasagna, a beautiful large Greek salad, and a bag of a dozen garlic breadsticks fresh out of the oven !!! Surprisingly, I had never had their lasagna since they have several other things I’m fond of as well. It was ridiculously delicious! Disposable foil pan was full to the brim with delicious sauce, noodles meat and cheese. They are Greek salad can’t be beat and we asked for extra beets and cucumber, which made it extra yummy!!! The breadsticks are a highlight of the meal nice and warm from the oven and garlicky good!!!! Everything was delicious and no snow for my niece who had already worked all day and is working tomorrow as well . We highly recommend Gus’s-, eat in/carry out / just eat it !!!!!!!
