Went for the Harry Potter dinners that they had back in the winter and it was fabulous! Amazing food and we were super comfortable in the outdoor yurts that they had.

I decided to try a frame pop-up because I saw what looked like a pretty damn good menu for a "May the 4th be with you" Star Wars event. It was a cool event under the big tent behind framebar, which they transformed into the "Galactic Traveler Lounge"... there was even a hot Sith waitress in there too ; ) The food from the guest chef was delicious. The drinks were really really good and I think the bartendress is the resident for most of frames events. This event cost me many galactic credits, about $120 including tip in US dollars for just myself for a 5 course meal and two drinks. Is that expensive? Hell yes. Do I find myself saying that in most reviews? Yes I do. Is this probably a new normal in eating out now? Yes it probably is. Bottom line, check frames website for a menu and themed night you think will be cool and go for it. It's a special occasion, once in a blue moon thing to do and an enjoyable thing to do with friends or a date.

Food was amazing. We tried all of the tacos - birria and shrimp were the favorites. The elote was so fresh and awesome! We made reservations early for this experience and it did not disappoint. We were bummed that they had run out of the flan early in the evening so request it as soon as you get there!

I went here for the first time to attend the pop up by Khana with my husband and another couple today. Had to come back and post this review. The kind of food served was an absolute low point. Cold tasteless butter chicken nachos, packaged store bought desert which wasn’t properly warmed, terrible fish and chips if they can even be called that. Their butter chicken sauce was disgusting! And not to mention extremely small portions at exorbitant prices. The cook should think of another career. This is NOT food. Also, frame should curate the kind of chefs they showcase or they will keep getting these terrible reviews. They didn't even ask for reviews at the end of the experience. Definitely scared to try any other pop ups at this place after this experience . Just go somewhere else!

Tonight was my first time at Frame! A friend and I went for the Val's Pizza pop-up. Originally we were scheduled to go for Khana last week, but due to the weather, we emailed Frame and asked if we could go today instead. First off: definitely book a reservation here, I didn't see too many walk-ins but I think they did have one or two open tables. Depending on what event/pop-up you attend, your price may vary, but ours was $25 per person, which was deducted from our bill at the end of the night, and a $3 processing fee. We started off with drinks - I had the Basil Vodka Collins and my friend got the Fig Vespa. We actually ended up switching drinks because hers was much sweeter than mine, and I prefer sweet drinks. We had seen photos of focaccia on Val's IG page but unfortunately they didn't offer that; they did have breadsticks, so we got that, but I was not super impressed with them. HOWEVER. This gets its own line ... the breadsticks came with TOMATO BUTTER, and I'm not even sure what was in it, but it was freaking delicious. And this comes from someone who hates tomato soup/cold tomato products. For pizzas, we split a White Pie, with prosciutto added, and the VP special. I thought the VP special was fine but not fantastic ... it had hot honey on it and I couldn't really taste it, which was disappointing, because honey on pizza is usually very good. The White Pie, though, was great, and I highly recommend adding the prosciutto. We finished with the handmade chocolate cannoli which was surprising - both in texture and flavor - and very, very good. The menu says it has chocolate ricotta, marscapone, lemon, and cinnamon sugar, and its shell was very delicate and more like a churro than any cannoli I've had before, although my friend says cannolis are supposed to have more delicate shells. Overall, everything was very good, although it was a bit of a pricey night - after the $25 deposit we each paid, our bills were $20 each, so after tip it ended up being about $29 (+ the $25), for a total of $54 each. However, that was with breadsticks, dessert, two pizzas, and one alcoholic drink each, so I guess it's not too terrible. Some general Frame tips, since as Tiffany (other Yelper) pointed out, the menus change weekly/monthly: 1) Frame doesn't have its own parking lot - you can park either on the street to the right of it, OR you can park in the Mabel Grey parking lot next door (that's what we did, at least - not sure if MG allows it, technically!). 2) Check the website for all of the upcoming pop-ups, as they are all pretty different. 3) They do cooking classes there too, and I was wondering where they were holding them - until I was waiting in line for the bathroom, and someone left, opened a door which looked like a painting, and I saw one was being conducted in that room! Completely different vibe than in the regular Frame part where we were sitting (low/romantic lighting in ours, fluorescent lighting in theirs, haha), so that was pretty interesting. Overall, very nice experience at Frame, and I hope to return for either a cooking class or another pop-up!

The food was wonderful (Khana Popup) and our waitress (Chantelle) was sweet, though service was a bit slow for the amount of people seated. However, the restaurant was so cold that I had my winter jacket on the entire meal with my hood up and was still too uncomfortably cold to enjoy myself. Looking around, almost all of the patrons also wore their winter jackets throughout their meals and even the waitress was wearing ear muffs. A small space heater was added about halfway through the meal but it was too cold to make a difference. I love the concept and idea of Frame but if you want to bring in up-and-coming pop-ups and charge competitive prices, you should make sure your customers are comfortable and warm or the delicious food will not bring them back.

Went to the Khana experience (Indian food with a twist) Butter Chicken Nachos - Could have been amazing but there was no flavor to the butter chicken and chutney. Chicken Sandwich - Didn't seem to have any Indian flavor but overall wasn't bad. Gulab Jamun - Was good but was cold in the middle Chaat - Good! Cocktail flight - I was extremely disappointed. While the cocktail was strong, all it consisted of was a juice with the liquor. They were not craft cocktails at all like the rest of the cocktail menu.

I guess I read it wrong, but for $70 [ got a box of rice & spice, no seafood included. I was so impressed with what I thought I was going to get that I tipped $20. I gotta say I feel pretty stupid.

We went for the Wild Game dinner. The menu was so creative and the food was wonderful. The wine pairings were perfect. The hospitality was second to none. We will be back soon.

Attended the seafood bar dinner. Drinks and pairing were on point and very enjoyable. Clam chowder amazing. Scampi alright...needed salt/heat/acid. Crab roll good. Scallop risotto...that was slop...like no flavor and mushy. Key lime pie was created by an 8th grader. Not sure the likelihood of returning. Ambiance and service ?
