We experienced Loui’s Pizza for the first time today! It did not disappoint. Everyone has wonderful from the salad, to the bread and of course, the pizza! We had a little bit of a wait but it wasn’t too bad. We will come back!

It's exactly what a classic place should be. Centered on family time, not a bunch of TVs. Best old school Detroit pizza in the country. Great salad, and I always get a quart of meat sauce to go. I make guidos (Italian nachos) with it.

I stopped here while visiting Detroit after reading it's one of the consensus places to get Detroit-style pizza. It did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious pizza. You can definitely taste the quality of the ingredients, from the sauce to the cheese to the toppings. When I checked out of my hotel the next day, I forgot the leftovers in the room fridge; I went back to the hotel to get them. That's how good this pizza is.
Parking: Parking lot fills up quickly. I got one of the last spaces when I arrived despite tables being available inside. When I left, another car was waiting to take my spot

Down to earth place with huge portions and an upgraded baked meatball sub. Detroit style pizza here is very different and is a lot cheesier than others. The Loui special is also worth trying but you'll definitely have leftovers. People wait in the parking lots for the restaurant to open so you know it's good!

Detroit pizza classic. I think the founder was a chef from the original Buddy's. Also this location is a time capsule, not much have change since they open. Pizza is great, especially when u dine in, I think the big difference between Lou's pizza and others are how crispy the edges are, also they have good ingredients too. I do like more sauce on my pizza so I wish they have more tomato sauce.
Other menu items are great too if pizza is too much for you. Homemade ravioli, one of the best I ever had. And I been told their sandwich is great too.
My hometown favorite, next to Brays! They get to n in and out, fast. Don’t let the crowd waiting outside deter you from coming in and getting on the waitlist! It is worth the wait and you don’t wait very long. The food is fantastic. The only downside is there is nowhere to park. They need a much bigger parking lot. Maybe tear down one of those rundown factories on Dequindre and make it a parking lot.

Food is really good, but if you want to order for takeout, it may take some time to get a response and also the wqiting time is not that accurate, depending on the day, they say 40 minutos and in reality it takes like 50 or more. Also, there is not much parking place, and they keep you outside to pick up the takeout order
