We went to Mabel Gray today and had the tasting menu — and wow, everything was incredible. Every single dish was full of flavor, super creative, and just really well done. You can tell the kitchen puts a lot of love and thought into what they’re doing.
The staff were amazing too — super friendly, helpful, and on point with the timing.
Honestly, we enjoyed every moment. The food, the service, the vibe — everything was just right. Can’t wait to go back again!

A true 5-star experience for the vegan tasting menu, the atmosphere, and the down-to-earth but impeccable service. From Colin, who greeted us and found us a table half an hour before our reservation, to Eric, our server, who gave precise, enthusiastic descriptions of every dish and drink, to the kitchen staff who produced a Michigan-influenced vegan 8-course menu that showcased vivid, and delicious vegetables and nuts in stunningly imaginative combinations, the entire staff produced a special, otherworldly dinner experience. My colleague, who loves to cook, and I were dazzled by the entire experience. It was a thrilling treat after a long work day. I wish I lived nearby so I could come back for every special occasion.

food was underwhelming. a little suprised and disappointed when we were served salty slices of ham on a skewer and called a dish. the main dish was a small steak which was also underwhelming. the highlight for us was probably just the sorbet

If I had to choose my last meal on this earth, it would be this tasting menu. Every single course left us speechless, like genuinely struggling to form words between bites. I think I blacked out somewhere between the fourth and fifth dish.
The chef? Never met him, but he’s now on my hall pass list. That’s how good this was. I don’t know what kind of dark magic they’re working in that kitchen, but I’m fully under its spell.
