Les Cheneaux Culinary School

We loved our visit here. The cornbread was amazing! Our salad and gumbo were also delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the marina. Service was excellent and our server really knew the menus. Don't skip the dessert. Can't wait to visit LCCS again!

Great dining experience. Food was first class. We had both the gumbo and bison burger. Our server Ben was fantastic. He answered all of our questions and was very attentive all evening. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic food, some old favorites which always are a delight as well as new and innovative items. Love this place!

Amazing service and delicious meal. Enjoyed the delicately prepared asian inspired dishes from sake sashimi wontons to savory fish coconut curry. Inspired food in a cozy mod setting. I would never guess this is a culinary school. It's definitely worth a date night!

Overpriced. Some dishes really hit it out of the park. Outdoor seating with a fabulous view, but the crowd is varied and we were disrupted by a large group with small children, which was unexpected.

Whitefish was very dry. The accompanying vegetable and starch had no flavor. Overall very disappointing. Presentation was good. The service and ambiance were good.

This was the third time we ate at the Culinary School this summer. Everything was exceptional, though I had to give three stars for service because we sat for a long period of time after arrival before anyone came to the table. When the head server saw what had happened she took over and everything went smoothly thereafter. The food as always was excellent- I had the walleye ceviche (for the third time) to which I'm addicted. Three of us had flank steak and it was also amazing.

Our group of 10 very much enjoyed our annual visit to the Culinary School. Reservations were easy, service was friendly and the food was exquisite. My flank steak was cooked to perfection and the same could be said of the other dishes that were ordered. We look forward to our next visit.

Our experience at Les Cheneaux was magical. The food was exquisite. One can tell when a good chef has prepared a meal with delicacy and there was NO DISAPPOINTMENT! This is a perfect place for a superb meal and the ambience was quite nice too! A great 38th anniversary celebration was had❤️

There were five people in our party. We all ordered different items and did some sharing. Everything was wonderful! I think my favorite was the rye encrusted whitefish and my husband's was the scallops with red curry. The cornbread was amazing, almost like a dessert. We ordered all three desserts to share. My favorite was the rhubarb posset. We have dined here before and have decided to make it a summer tradition. We live two hours away, but the drive is very much much worth it!

Great food, a Michelin grade restaurant in a tiny town. Well worth a trip up. Make sure you make a reservation. Only open in the summer. The students at the culinary school are the cooks.

We had such a fun and delicious food adventure here! We drove an hour from Petoskey and it was so worth it! The food was interesting, delicious and beautifully plated. The server was so gracious and attentive. Still dreaming about the roti served with both the hummus and my curry dish--fantastic! Thanks to all!
