“I ordered Christmas cookies from Melissa at Bread Crumbs after seeing her posts on Facebook. Her customer service was exceptional. The cookies arrived carefully individually packaged. Every cookie was perfect and beautiful. So artistic and decorated meticulously. She sprinkled each with an edible glitter that makes them so Festive. I didn’t want to ruin the cookie, but ate one anyhow and they are beyond delicious. I highly recommend Bread Crumbs if you want “the best”.”

“We stopped in here for lunch after our travel day. I had the whitefish on the chicken salad. It was excellent and I had them remove the chicken. The service was great and the bar decor was great to explore as well.”

“I was in town and needed some coffee and recommendations on things to do on the area. I got a dirty chai, and blueberry coffee cake, and the suggestion of driving to De Tour because the views are beautiful. Everything was spot on! the coffee and cake were delightful as I sat admiring the harbor from the warm and cozy shop, and the views did not disappoint either along the shore! I wish I didn't live so far away so I could visit again!”

“The drinks were good, the staff were super friendly, but the food was sub par. We had the buffalo chicken dip and shared the beer cheesesteak. The dip was ok but was served with cheap “school” type tortilla chips and the sandwich was served with very tough meat and the beer cheese had absolutely no flavor. I would not eat there again, but my martini was super !!”

“Many of the best times in my life have been at Big D's. Daryl and Julie are the best host you could ask for by providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is great and portions are a value. I certainly wish I could enjoy visiting Big D's more often! Once I retire I hope to be a regular. Call me Daryl so we can hook up.”

“Amazing gluten free options and I am so thankful! Dana is easy to communicate with and made sure to have a variety of options when I let her know we would be coming up for the weekend. The gluten free turtle cheesecake was DIVINE! My husband and kiddo love the buoy buns and the pricing is really excellent. 100% recommended and we will return over and over again.”

“Always a great place for ice cream! I've been there 4 times this week already. The Amaretto Mackinac Island Fudge is my favorite ice cream, so we get it a lot up when we come visit. This summer I tried some sundaes as well, very good! I got the Heavenly Hill and the Gooey Government (pictured).”

“After driving up from down state, we were looking forward to a Whitefish dinner. But, we were "Very Disappointed' in our experience Sunday night (09/09). After ordering, then waiting over 40 mins., we were told the cook left and they couldn't sever us. If they don't get these issues resolved, they aren't going to be around much longer.”

“We make it a point to go there every time we're in the upper peninsula of Michigan. It's a family-owned business and they really know what they are doing. The food quality is always top notch and the service is even better!”

“Easy to order and the food here is delicious! I am especially fond of the perch fish and their pizzas! I have always loved eating here, our parents brought us here quite often as children. They also allowed us to have our brothers celebration of life here and they were amazing with their service and the food and it wasn't very costly. I definitely recommend here for regular family dining or parties.”
