“Was just on Mackinac this past week. Stopped in for lunch with 2 of my nieces on Wednesday. It was amazing. So good we came back on Thursday. Hands down best burgers on Mackinac. Service is amazing as well so efficient! Highly recommend stopping for breakfast or lunch!”

“Took 45 minutes with a bunch of confusion to get a burger and fries. The waitress with kind and accommodating but some of the waitresses we’re eating in the back in the kitchen as we waited.”

“One of the oldest buildings in Michigan dating back to the 1780’s. Food and apps are killer! Service is great food comes out quick and hot. The ambience of the building is really cool. Military and law-enforcement discount. Super veteran and law-enforcement friendly. This is a great American establishment in one of the oldest Michigan buildings! I truly look forward to coming here every single year we’re on vacation! This is a staple on our trip!”

“Delicious and great service! Our new favorite spot for lunch or dinner on Mackinac! We had the chicken fingers (they're supposed famous for their chicken fingers and now we know why!) and the white fish and chips. Both were outstanding - flavorful and fall apart tender! Their fries were exceptionally delicious - salty and with a light subtle seasoning we loved! The service was phenomenal - helpful and friendly. Lovely place right on the water!”

“We have made Kingston Kitchen an annual dinner location while visiting Mackinac Island. The jerk chicken fettuccine alfredo is a must!! My husband had the bbq fried chicken and is still talking about how great it was! Great food plus a friendly atmosphere with a great waitstaff. Highly recommended.”

“Had both the chili with corn bread and the burger with pork belly bacon, egg, cheese on a brioche. Everything great - good service and knowledgeable staff. Craft beers and live music was a bonus along with the outdoor patio. Highly recommend - great getaway from the chaos of the island.”

“Bistro on the Greens is such a peaceful place; beautiful lake views and none of the downtown chaos. It’s the kind of spot where you can actually breathe.

The food is solid, the drinks are well-priced, but honestly, the staff is what makes it. Super friendly, warm, and they really make you feel welcome without trying too hard. You can tell they actually care.

“Great food and drinks but prices should reflect ordering at counter. The do it yourself s’mores kit was disappointing as I thought it would come with a small flame but instead we had to walk the items over to a propane fire pit and interrupt the people sitting there to use it.”

“We just got married at Mission Point on July 4, 2025 and had the best experience!! Julie Suddon and Charlotte Mills and the entire staff were incredible. Julie was super responsive and sweet from start to finish. Super easy to work with and just a nice person. She transitioned us to Charlotte Mills to do the actual planning and the transition was super smooth with tons of communication. Charlotte was equally impressive. Her communication was great from start to finish as well and fantastic for our rehearsal and the day of the wedding. Just super smooth from touring to actually getting married. We were so thankful for the wonderful and professional communication which eased any stress we could’ve otherwise had! We are so happy we decided to choose Mission Point and recommend anyone do the same if looking to get married on Mackinac Island!! Food was great, bartender was great, the vendors were chose were all on the suggested vendor list which made things super, super easy! Just so smooth, cannot say that enough! “Ordered chicken noodle soup and flatbread for lunch. The flatbread was more like a pepperoni pizza. Both were very tasty. Ground Coffee is located inside the Grand Hotel. This was better and less expensive lunch option while spending time on the property. Service was friendly. Again food was good but slightly overpriced. A bowl of soup was $10. Did appreciate the atmosphere and opportunity to eat inside the Grand Hotel.

Seating was just outside of the venue. Cute and cozy tables. Our flatbread was brought to us. Server was a little confused but we were able to grab her attention.

I guess the disappointment was that if we paid admission, there would have been a discount offered.”

“Came here in 2025. Had a brownie sundae and a root beer. The sundae and root beer were delicious, but the price ($23) was pure highway robbery. Sadly, that describes just about everything on this tourist trap island. Would come here again, but only on someone else's tab...”

“I had a taste-test date night with my wife. We bought PB fudge from every store on the island and in Mac City. We can say with certainty that Murray Hotel Fudge Company has the best Peanut Butter fudge in the straights. We also agreed that theirs is the creamiest fudge on the island. There are so many flavors, but my favorite is the Cinnamon Bun! Although there was an error in our rather large online order, they proved that their service is excellent by correcting it right away. Latoya was wonderful and helpful. Thanks!!”

“We were up visiting as we celebrated our youngest daughters adoption day. Sanders was kind enough to personalize a cake for us and surprised our girl with a personalized cookie too! Such kind people with delicious goodies!”

“We very much enjoyed our time at The Grand Hotel. The front porch was amazing for afternoon drinks and relaxing. Shout out to James Tan, our absolute favorite server! We stayed at The Grand with friends for a week! We enjoyed meals at the Jockey Club and loved The Woods!! The staff was mostly attentive, I think the concierge team could do a bit better at being nice. The only complaint I have is dinner in the main dining room. We wanted the experience and got all dolled up one night. Drinks on the porch were great! Dinner was terrible and the service was terrible. I understand it’s a commitment and that’s part of the experience, but our waiter never came around and asked how our meals were after serving us and waited too long between courses. I could see him having a good time laughing and flirting with a coworker when he should have been attending to his patrons. I would recommend The Grand! We absolutely had an amazing week. I would never have dinner in the main dining room again. There are too many great restaurants on the island. You don’t need to settle for bad food and service.”
