We very much enjoyed our time at The Grand Hotel. The front porch was amazing for afternoon drinks and relaxing. Shout out to James Tan, our absolute favorite server! We stayed at The Grand with friends for a week! We enjoyed meals at the Jockey Club and loved The Woods!! The staff was mostly attentive, I think the concierge team could do a bit better at being nice. The only complaint I have is dinner in the main dining room. The Main Dining Room at the Grand Hotel is a special place to eat. The atmosphere is very impressive. You feel very special while you’re there. We did not make a reservation and we were able to walk right in without a wait on a Friday night. The restaurant is so incredibly big it accommodates a lot of people. We had both breakfast and dinner there and here are our thoughts.

We went here for the lunch buffet on a Monday. Paid $14 each to go inside the hotel. The $14 was deducted from the $79 lunch buffet price at the register. Our server gave us a table for 2 by a window which had a great view of the bridge. I'm not sure why so many complaints about the food there.
