“Great food! An unexpected find in the U.P.!“

“Delicious and great service! Our new favorite spot for lunch or dinner on Mackinac! We had the chicken fingers (they're supposed famous for their chicken fingers and now we know why!) and the white fish and chips. Both were outstanding - flavorful and fall apart tender! Their fries were exceptionally delicious - salty and with a light subtle seasoning we loved! The service was phenomenal - helpful and friendly. Lovely place right on the water!“

“Bistro on the Greens is such a peaceful place; beautiful lake views and none of the downtown chaos. It’s the kind of spot where you can actually breathe.

The food is solid, the drinks are well-priced, but honestly, the staff is what makes it. Super friendly, warm, and they really make you feel welcome without trying too hard. You can tell they actually care.

“We have made Kingston Kitchen an annual dinner location while visiting Mackinac Island. The jerk chicken fettuccine alfredo is a must!! My husband had the bbq fried chicken and is still talking about how great it was! Great food plus a friendly atmosphere with a great waitstaff. Highly recommended.“

“One of the oldest buildings in Michigan dating back to the 1780’s. Food and apps are killer! Service is great food comes out quick and hot. The ambience of the building is really cool. Military and law-enforcement discount. Super veteran and law-enforcement friendly. This is a great American establishment in one of the oldest Michigan buildings! I truly look forward to coming here every single year we’re on vacation! This is a staple on our trip!“

“We live in Ohio and never get fresh fish. My wife and I decided to split the fish n chips and a cheeseburger meal. Both were outstanding! I like to save what tastes best for last and I couldn't decide. The burger meal comes with kettle chips and I thought about substituting them for fries, but the fish came with fries so we kept the chips and were very glad we did. If you make say what was the best thing I ate, it would be the fresh white fish. Delicious!!!! My wife and I don't eat out very often and this was the best meal we've had in years.“

“The food is always awesome! My husband literally has talked about it since last year! He finally got his hamburger and fries he waited a year for and i got the pasta salad. We loved it!!!“

“More like a local pub than a tourist spot. Service was quick. We needed a quick light lunch an ordered the Mexican Sampler platter. Split with the wife and it was all we needed to keep us going. It spicy but and the fresh salsa had just the right kick. If I come to the island again this will be a nice break from the crazy main st.“

“We just got married at Mission Point on July 4, 2025 and had the best experience!! Julie Suddon and Charlotte Mills and the entire staff were incredible. Julie was super responsive and sweet from start to finish. Super easy to work with and just a nice person. She transitioned us to Charlotte Mills to do the actual planning and the transition was super smooth with tons of communication. Charlotte was equally impressive. Her communication was great from start to finish as well and fantastic for our rehearsal and the day of the wedding. Just super smooth from touring to actually getting married. We were so thankful for the wonderful and professional communication which eased any stress we could’ve otherwise had! We are so happy we decided to choose Mission Point and recommend anyone do the same if looking to get married on Mackinac Island!! Food was great, bartender was great, the vendors were chose were all on the suggested vendor list which made things super, super easy! Just so smooth, cannot say that enough! “Wonderful dinner! We tried everything. From the New York Strip, to the whitefish to the Wagyu burger, it was all amazing. The property itself is beautiful and we enjoyed the sunset over looking Lake Huron. Angus took the best care of us and we look forward to seeing him next year!“

“Starbucks is the only chain establishment you'll find on the island, much to the chagrin of the locals. Since its arrival, the number of local coffee shops on the island has shrunk. If you're looking to support a local business, check out Lucky Bean or Watercolor!

The Starbucks does blend in fairly well to the Main Street look, and it's a clean, bright space. The drinks are definitely more expensive than what I'm used to back home, so prepare for island price gouging.“
