“I had an absolutely incredible meal of whitefish chowder, charbroiled whitefish, and redskin mashed potatoes (with gravy, of course!). The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and inviting. Jim (the owner) and his wife are super sweet and took time out of their busy day to chat with our table and ensure that the food and service was top-notch. I also recommend the apple dumplings with homemade rum sauce and delicious vanilla bean ice cream to complete your meal. (I took a bite of the fish before I took the picture).“

“the food is always great - love their pasties, however everything I've had has been really delicious. Just had their turkey & rice soup yesterday and it seriously may be the best soup I've every had. the service has always been fantastic as well, very friendly and knowldegable about their menu. The BEST part of eating at the Bayview Inn is the incredible view of the Straites of Mackinaw right out their awesome picture windows. The 3 sides of the restaraunt face the straits, and the place sits up on a bluff affording an unobstructed view below. I will stop here whenever I am in the area.“

“We stopped for a late-morning breakfast and ordered the Three-Egg Omelettes, one Spinach with onion, mushroom topped with melted Swiss Cheese & fresh sliced tomatoes. One with just cheese. Really big and cooked nice and hot. The marble rye toast was great, thick sliced and served with hash browns.“
