Very generous portions 3 filets came with the delicious lump crabmeat when I ordered the sole. The trout and potatoe tartlet was prepared to perfection. Dwight was lovely and interested in engaging the customers to the experience. Loved every moment from the piano playing softly to the final it was worth the expense.
I saw some bad reviews so I almost cancelled but we went anyway to judge for ourselves. The carriage ride to the woods was nice. We were there a little early so we walked to sunset rock. Our meal was excellent and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was polite and did a good job. We are at the grand the night before and I would recommend the woods over the hotel. About the same cost. We had the rib-eye and the filet mignon. For dessert we had the pecan ice cream ball

Over priced cocktails because they are connected to the Grand--plus had to wait for the bartender after he served a few golfers that came in after us--not the best customer service, so we will not be back-even to try dinner. Pity because the area is beautiful and the ride through the woods is wonderful--too bad the service & staff was not, perhaps I am not a golfer but I do enjoy the finer beverage & meal--the other resorts on the island did welcome us back.
