“A Sault Ste Marie Gem! Locals on both sides of the river, US and CA wait not so patiently all winter for West Pier to open. If you happen to move away from the area, you make it a point to come home for West Pier. Fantastic service and delicious food, highly recommend!“
“The food is abundant & delicious. The service was excellent! The interior is definitely not their strong suit. Table tops need to be tossed out & the plastic drinking cups look to be about 20 years old & beat up. The food would bring us back, but they need serious help with the interior.“

“Their wings and pizza are great. Only once did I get a not fully cooked burger, but that was taken care of. However if ordering the whitefish, basket or dinner, don’t waste your money. Whitefish basket you get only a half of a fillet. Dinner you get a whole fillet. Compared to nearby places like the Cozy, you get 2 fillets for a basket, and 3 plus for a dinner.“
“This place kind of looks like a dump, but the food is excellent and that’s why they’re busy, even though it’s located on Sugar Island; which isn’t very populated. Recommend the burgers. The service is pleasant, but slow. They used to have a view of the Soo, being on the hilltop, but property owners nearby, let all the trees grow and the view is no longer. Friday and Saturday nights are packed. Check out this gem.“

“We came in with a large group of 15 people for a birthday celebration. They sat us fast and at 2 tables, kiddy corner to each other. We had 2 different waitresses. We got our orders in at different times due to 3 people from our party coming about 15 minutes late. Our food came, and it all looked delicious. The burgers were good, like homemade thick patties. My husband and my fries were cold, and they never refilled coffee unless we asked. There were 3 people drinking coffee at our table. I had a hot tea, which I only got one cup of because I didn't ask for more. We waited for our check for quite a while and had to ask for it. I've been here before and have had great service. Such a disappointment this time.“

We both ordered burgers which were cooked beautifully and the tot of the day which was cheddar broccoli! It all tasted amazing! I will definitely be going back.“
