“Took 45 minutes with a bunch of confusion to get a burger and fries. The waitress with kind and accommodating but some of the waitresses we’re eating in the back in the kitchen as we waited.“

“I was camping at Wilderness and thought I would spend a night on the Island. I was checking 906 for activities and seen a young female musician playing at your Bistro so I reserved a table for dinner with the hope of seeing some Upnorth music. As what usually happens with plans that did not take place as the Lions were playing and the artist was rescheduled, I believe. Your Hostess and Waitress were very professional young women. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was excellent, Squash Risotto was very good as was the carrot cake with homemade ice cream, with a couple Guinness.“

“Visiting the BEST bakery in Michigan is our yearly tradition when we go up north, and it never lets us down! From donuts to breakfast sandwiches, croissants, coffee, and more, every bite is pure happiness. And the brownies? Total game-changer! The team is always so friendly and fast, which makes the whole experience that much sweeter. 🍩 🍳 ☕️ 🥧“

“I recently visited Mackinaw city and discovered Di Island. I had the curried tofu with a side of beans and rice!! So good I was back the next day. I highly recommend Di Island, Great food and super friendly staff!!“

“We went here for dinner on sunday and holy wow it was great. The food came out quick and was incredibly delicious and way bigger portions than we expected. The staff we dealt with from the hostess to the server to the guy who bussed out table were all amazing and friendly. The drinks we got especially the margaritas were astounding and perfectly put together. The prices were fairly decent given the size of the portions and the obvious quality that went into making the food. The restaurant as a whole looked nice, clean, and well maintained. The atmosphere as a whole from the music to the friendly staff shows that it is a great place to work for and is gonna ge around for a long time.“

“My favorite restaurant here. Always great service... Rick the waiter was slammed we had a party of 12. Edgar the manager came over took our drink orders. Helped out until Rick could get free. 5 Star service and food here. Highly recommend this establishment“
