Enjoyed most of our meals at the Round island and the service was great! By the end of the week the manager Justin was like a friend. He always checked on us and would offer meal suggestions and even gave us ideas on things to do during our stay. He’s a gem!!
My husband and I spent a weekend in Mackinac island for our baby-moon for our first child. We did not stay at Mission Point Resort, but we decided to have a special dinner at the Round Island Kitchen. We arrived early around 6, ( since it was so rainy and cold outside!) and were seated at the best spot in the restaurant in the front window overlooking the famous gazebo and front lawn to the lake views. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner tonight in the gem of Round Island Kitchen. The “ fall menu” did not disappoint! I enjoyed Salmon prepared with squash purée and lentils. My husband loved the pan-roasted chicken served with barley, squash and spinach. Dessert of Pear cake and Espresso Martini finished our evening. We could not give higher praise to the kitchen or the wait staff. Hurry to see them before the 3024 season comes to a close.
