It's a pretty standard Chinese food restaurant, with the kind of good inexpensive food that you'd expect. General Tso's Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein are our "go to" orders. Good soup! Good egg rolls! Quick service! Very happy to have Great Wall in the Hillsdale community!

We saw this was rated 3.8 before we tried it so we were not expecting GREATness from Geat Wall but Great Wall is not a 3.8, it's legitimately more like 1.5. The wonton soup was truly the only thing edible and hot. Crab Rangoon, cold in middle. Egg roll greasy as could be. Fried Rice, barely warm, Egg Foo Yong, awful. We waited ten minutes to be seated in a place that had only one person sitting at a table and three waiting on takeout. Not even an acknowledgement of be right with you. We finally seated ourselves. The server did his best, a woman who clearly was working the back kept coming out to lend the assist, we really just wanted a decent meal forget the service. But truly the food was beyond bad and with fast food Chinese that's pretty hard to execute. Anyway, it's the only one in town, just know what you're getting before you sign up.

My experience at the restaurant was not a good one. The table was very sticky and very dirty, The waitress was very snotty when she thought we ordered one thing and we did not, the waitress also brought us a refill on our drinks but refilled a diet as a regular and I had to send it back, the waitress was very adamant that we had to pay a 15 to 20% tip she said it to me at least three times and I'm sorry but when I tip a person I base it on cleanliness of the facility, the food, the waitress whether or not she can get our order correct or not and on the receipt it says tip suggestion It doesn't say you have to pay 15 to 20% and when the lady found out that we were not going to leave her tip because of how bad our service was she snatched up my to-go drinks and threw them away and said nope you don't get a drink if you're not going to pay my 15 to 20% tip and the worst part about the deal is it was only me and my other person in that building eating and they still can get our order right and she kept going in the back and yelling at somebody I will not be recommending this restaurant to anybody I will be telling everybody to stay away from it

Ordered egg rolls and sesame sauce.. I got store bought microwaved egg rolls with watered down sweet and sour sauce. 15 minute wait was 35 to 45 minutes..
I was hesitant about eating here, the Great Wall because of the reviews. Very good food!! Very satisfied with everything we ordered. We will be ordering there again.

I have always enjoyed the food here until tonight, called and placed a pick up order for 2 house lo-main ( always a favorite) got the food home and it was the most disgusting, mushy, slimmy dish of over cooked noodles, it was not edible, we were very disappointed since we were charged $35 for food that ended up in the trash.
