Best Brews

Went to based off trying the Hops Passport.

Food was good.
Beer was OK. Out of the 1 I wanted to try but that happens with limited runs

Issue was Passport says 50% off 1st 2 drinks. We did not know it was required to buy 2 for ANY discount.

Will try Passport else where and see if it is open to each establishments interpretation and then decide about returning to HBC.

Very good food and a good selection of craft beers. Had the BLT and was delicious

Great food, kimchi pot stickers are amazing, Mac and cheese is very good . Tried a flight of beer and liked it all. Peanut butter porter was a standout. Will definitely be back.

Love HBC! Hillsdale Brewing is our own “Cheers” - they remember us and it’s always cozy and a great experience. Love the fresh craft beer and classic pub vibe and it’s family friendly too. Their specials are good and the menu has something for everyone. Bonus - If you go when they host train events, it’s super fun to watch the locomotives!

Was a bit skeptical because of the look of the building but I will say, absolutely amazing wonderfully service and food absolutely will come here again

The increasingly misnamed SE MI Brewery Discovery rolls back into Hillsdale! Yes, there are two breweries here. My latest lunch stop on the road to see the family.
Pro tip: many breweries are closed on Mondays, some on Tuesdays, too. This was the only one open for lunch between Ann Arbor & Kalamazoo along I-94 that I hadn't visited already. (Too many qualifiers?)
Ordered a flight of beers, the Kimchi Pot Stickers & a sandwich.
Beers were decent, some better than that. Solid but no standouts.
The food is much better. The pot stickers were very good, the dipping sauce has a good flavor & a nice hint of heat. The Crazy Q sandwich was very good, too. 😋😋
I'd definitely stop again.

Absolutely amazing experience! Service was good, food came out quick, everything was delicious! I also very much appreciated the clean and private bathrooms! Pricing is fair as well!

Hard lemonade cider

My Husband and I stopped by on a Saturday night. Our server was amazing! Mariah really made sure our drinks were full and checked back on our food in a timely manner. Mariah was very friendly and kind! Food was delicious and prices were great. Will be back again! Thank you!

This was the second brewery I tried in Hillsdale. I’m not sure what the history of the building is, but it’s a unique location and feels more like an old house. The waitress was pleasant, and I got a beer flight and some southwestern egg roles. The beers were good without any flaws I could detect, and the egg rolls were delicious. It really hit the spot. I’d definitely stop by again if I’m in the area.

Inside corn hole boards, board games, couches. They have 2 radios u can blue tooth or ask Alexa to play music for you. Fun place to try new drinks.
