My wife and I have eaten here twice while on the FWRHS steam train trip layovers. Even though they were extremely busy both times due the large numbers of train passengers looking for lunch, I felt they handled the crush pretty well. Had the BBQ brisket sandwich both times, and REALLY liked it. Don't remember what the wife had, but she was pleased. Had another couple with us the first time, and they liked it too.

Went here with a group of adults and had an awful experience. The bartender was clearly not cut out for customer service. We weren’t allowed to move tables together, that’s fine, but when we got up to greet others in our group we were yelled at to sit down. Sorry. I’ve been out of Kindergarten for over 40 years. We wanted to enjoy a beer with friends, but was anything but enjoyable. Would not recommend.

We stopped on a special day when they opened for our train tour. I appreciate them going the extra mile to serve this group in their day off.The team here asked us to order at the bar before being seated. I don't know if that is their normal process. If it is...it might work well for the restaurants logistics but it creates a less than desirable dinning feel for me. The order takers were very friendly and helpful. They hustled to process the train passengers.The seating area is a large open room. It feels like an old factory turned beer garden. The floors are a nice hardwood. Not much decor or atmosphere in this large room. They did have a singer as entertainment which wasn't the best.For food I started with the potstickers. These weren't your traditional Chinese potsticker. They were over fried and tough. The filling was vegan instead of pork. It didn't work for me and wasn't very tasty. Kinda tough and flavorless. The sweet chili sauce really helped.I also tried the BBQ Mac Burrito. The BBQ was good but not very plentiful. It was a bit hard to find that taste. The Mac & Cheese was nice and creamy. The noodles were soft. Served alone I think they would be fine. Stuffed in a burrito....not a fan of.Please be aware that they don't give free refills on soda. We didn't have table service outside of someone dropping off food.Overall I will give them four stars for opening up special for the train tour. Otherwise I was rather unimpressed with this establishments process and food.

My favorite place to go and have lunch or dinner.. my favorite ale is the blue berry cream ale beer... Very yummy...it is a place to go.... A lot of history about the build very interesting...They have trivia tonight.. axe throwing and other activities. Also can set and play board games and have a beer.
