This place has an old diner feel and but with a modern look to it. The servers are always friendly and helpful. If you want any kind of substitution, within reason, they're always willing to ask the kitchen staff and majority of the time they can do it. I can honestly say I've never had bad food here. It's always been hot and fresh. I love love love their Cowboy Burger and their breakfast quesadilla. The reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because even at breakfast, with hardly any customers around, there's no gettin in and out of the place in under 40 minutes. If you want this on your lunch break, order ahead for carryout!

Love this place food is great normally but when they get busy they tend to forget about you waited 45 minutes for food the other day and almost left 80/20 on the good side

Food was nasty. Service sucked. If u like spray on butter you would love this meal. It seriously had e bottles of spray butter on the potatoes and eggs. Everything tasted the same...

Excellent service!! The food is above average...with the Hillsdale hash being both unusual and delicious.

I love the friendly staff, fast service and the food is great. If you're in town during the Farmers Market I recommend stopping in for a bite. It will give you a chance to enjoy the Farmers Market and yourself. While you dine looking out the window seating at all of the wonderful vendors and visitors. I enjoy and recommend the Rum Custard French Toast. I simply enjoy The Local Eatery. I can't wait to stop back in.

This is a great little home town diner spot. Booths, tables, and counter seating. Not a big place, but they were keeping up with the breakfast crowd on a Sunday Father's Day. It's right downtown, but not well marked. Hard to see it as you are driving by. I suppose it's a well kept secret for the locals. The service was friendly, and quick. Christina was great. They (all of them) were quick to refill my coffee. Which is critical to a decent breakfast experience. If you are eating breakfast with an empty cup . We shared one of their "famous" cinnamon rolls to start. It was delicious and so soft and gooey! I wanted to try their rum custard berry french toast, but they had a stuffed version of same on the board as a special. It was amazing, and filling. My son's "Wally" farmer's omelet was also huge and looked delicious doused in country sausage gravy. (His came with a choice of many types of toast, English muffin or a Biscuit to go with that gravy. This was a great local eatery. True to the name! Good food fast from friendly local servers. Mic drop.
