We are so sad to hear of the closing of Alpen Rose! Wonderful food, great atmosphere & service in both the restaurant and the café. We loved brunch. This was a favorite place for my German grandmother. This site hosted many wonderful events for us. You will be missed! Thanks for serving our community
I had lunch here and ate inside the restaurant. All appropriate precautions and social distancing between tables was observed. I had the Forest Mushroom Soup it was creamy and very tasty. I also had the Jager Schnitzel it was perfectly crisp with a delicious mushroom sauce. The schnitzel came with braised cabbage and spaetzle both were excellent. Service was friendly and fast. I look forward to returning.
Great service!The fondue is a must, very tasty and the small plate feeds 3 persons.We also had the Michigan salad, onion soup, Montecristo sandwich and they were good.What was great was the coffee! I tried a capuchino and was my hit!
