Second time we walked out of Bob Evans in Holland, MI. Got seated, no one came with water. After waiting 10 mins we left. They were not busy each time. Poor management!!!
Great server. Average food, small portions and high prices.

I've been disappointed with the quality of the food the last few times I've eaten here. However, the service has been good.

Food wasn't what I imaged on the menu but it was good service.
I ordered the breaded chicken breast. It was very small, flavorless, tough, and rubbery. Prices were great, so I might consider going back and trying something off the breakfast menu, but never for dinner again.

Had the Turkey,/Stuffing,/Mashed Potatoes, and Banana Bread
Banana Bread was Delicious, got two Small pieces, the Instant Mash Potatoes really SUCKED, had to stir them for there was a couple clumps of Dried flakes, stuffing was good, got two or three Pieces of Shaved and Chopped up pieces of Turkey,
The way the Advertisement shows Slices of Turkey off a bird, what they served was roll processed stuff,
I ordered the $8.99, special and wasn't worth three dollars,
Waitress said they offer a $13.50 deal,
Doubt I would EVER go Back,
Wouldn't recommend it
Took a good 20 minutes to get sitted, there was plenty of Empty tables, they just needed to be cleaned

Update November 2024 still absolutely love this restaurant
Update for 2024 although he had a few issues like ice dumping on our table and biscuits being missed we had a great time and excellent service our server had a great attitude and liked to laugh with us
Updated review for 2022 is the same wonderful place
Always great food, friendly staff and clean environment.
Updated review for 2020
They have always put the customer first here. On May 25 2020 during the covid election pandemic/house arrest (whatever you want to call it) i took my birthday girl here because it's our tradition. The building was closed so we used a picnic table and a Chevy. The waitress came out with a face mask on and asked if she could get us anything else. This staff made an almost horrible birthday one she will never forget. And i think i got some dad points as well. I take all 4 of my kids here every year on their birthday (or on Saturday if their birthday lands on Sunday)
God bless this staff for everything

One of the worst restaurant experiences in recent memory. They looked like deer in the headlights when we walked in. I think they were hoping no one else would show up before closing - nearly an hour later. Drinks. Ordering. Food. Check. All took FOREVER, even though the place was mostly empty. Reason? Lots of playing and larking around and not much working. Constant apologies for mishaps when it would have just been easier to do the job properly. Three attempts to cook a simple dish. I don’t even see the first two failures. Amateur high school operation. If I were the franchise owner I would fire everyone who was “working” there tonight.
