Starting by saying my expectations for Bob Evan’s isn’t high. I expected an aggressively average experience and was disappointed to see that our waitress was eating behind the counter. After explaining I had a food allergy, she proceeded to eat food with her hands and not wash before bringing food out to not only us but other patrons. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stop there. The entire staff was eating off of plates in the warmer. It’s totally possible this was an extra plate and the kitchen offered it to staff and I don’t have an inherent issue with people eating at work (we all deserve to eat) but I DO have an issue with people not taking food allergies and food safety seriously. Did you know that this is the most common time of year for norovirus and it is commonly passed through food contact and cross contamination? I really try not to go out of my way to write bad reviews but 1) I’m already sick from my meal I couldn’t finish because my allergies weren’t taken seriously and 2) it’s unacceptable to eat over and around customer food. My family won’t be eating here again and if these things are important to you, I would advise you against eating at this establishment.

The waitress was adorable. The food was alot and yum. The caramel mocha i had was really good. Me and my husband came here for breakfast we were seated rite away. We loved it we both got the same breakfast.

Food was decent when it finally arrived at the table. Went to check out and the cash register system was down. People waiting to be seated, waiting to checkout, waiting to get their food. Worst dining experience ever, with the exception of having food poisoning (different restaurant).

The server was great and the food was tasty. The kitchen delay was not acceptable. Checkout was also SLOW! A good manager could solve these challenges.
The service was terrible. Our waitress was rude did not check on us. We waited for over 20 minutes for our food and it was lukewarm warm. When we nicely informed the waitress that the orders were wrong and given things we discussed not order she snapped at us and gave a rude comment. We had to go ask for our check. Will not go there again. Horrible.

The service is what stood out, emma was great! I came in from out of town for a wedding and I had some questions about the area and needed directions and she was happy to help me out with it. She came around at the perfect times to check in on me. Food quality was solid and came out quickly. Very friendly crew

Just got sad down with my fiance and our child to eat and the staff started heckling us about how we aren't allowed to have a car seat in the restaurant because its a walking hazard but refused to give us a high chair when we were told we could have one when we requested seating. I highly advise aginst any family's eating at the Holland Michigan Bob Evans. 0/10 didnt even get to order food.

The food is about what you'd expect at a chain like this. Satisfying but not overwhelmingly wonderful. Our server was great. She stayed on top of our drink refill and took our dirty plates away promptly. The atmosphere, again, basic for a place like this.
