Very cute place to have a brunch with friends and family. We got pancakes, fiesta bowl and two peppermint mochas. We had to ask for extra peppermint as we didn’t taste it much at first. Fiesta bowl is indeed warming, has a little kick to it. But I couldn’t enjoy it. It’s too much of sauce, squash bites are either mushy or hard. It tastes very grease. I would recommend to add something to it that would take up that sauce to make it balanced. Maybe some grains: buckwheat, rice or quinoa? Otherwise, I think it could be a best side dish with smaller portion of it, but not as an entree.

Among other things, they offer a variety of salads which are quite large and make a meal by themselves. After each of us ate one, we did not have room for any of their bakery offerings, but the pies and cheesecakes looked very appealing.

This is a great little place to stop at and grab breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon Snack. (I have not been in town during dinner time.) The food is excellent and I feel the price is low for the quality and quantity of food received. I make it a point to always go for a meal or snack whenever I'm in Holland!

Bowermans on 8th restaurant was awful. My family and I will never go there again. The food is bland, and the prices are exorbitant. And you could die eating their food. I had a shard of hard plastic in my turkey reuben sandwich, along with really hard pieces of bacon fat. Asked for my money back and they refused, saying too much of the sandwich had already been eaten. So if you almost die from choking on plastic pieces in their food, they will not return your money. How awful. It was the manager Samantha who refused to give me my money back. My family member's chicken salad sandwich was bland too. Do not go to Bowermans.

Bowermans is a cute shop with lots to look/purchase, friendly employees, and outstanding food. The best meal we had during our stay in Holland. Would def come here again.

We came in the store just to buy a pie and some donuts. The young girl at the counter was very friendly when we first walked up. We asked for a dozen blueberry donuts. She rang us up first and our bill was around $50 for everything WE set on the counter except for the donuts she was packaging. When I went to pay of course the tip button popped up. I gave her a 10% tip…. Welp that is when the attitude changed. She walked back with the donuts and looked at the order screen. I think it showed the tip amount at that point. Boy did her attitude change with us, and she became quite rude. The entitled little girl continued to look at the screen over and over and wouldn’t even look at us. She did not tell us to have a nice day or anything when we left so I said it to her and her response was “Yep”… Sorry but your entitled little attitudes don’t fly with me and I hope it doesn’t with the ownership here either. I don’t need to tip your employees to get me some donuts out of a cabinet but I did. Also if she realized that a 20% tip would have been almost $10 for her unappreciative self packing up some donuts would have been slightly absurd.

The tables/floor were dirty. staff seems rushed/scattered. the potato cakes were bland and coated in cooking spray/grease, leaving a nasty taste. not impressed.

The place is so cute. I ate the avocado toast and the blueberrie pancake. The avocado toast has a delicious twist because the berries. The coffee is good and the bakery is tasty too. On weekends is busy so you have to be patient and search for a table too eat but it worth. One Of my favorites places to breakfast or brunch in Holland. The place have a beautiful to the Eighth Street and the restroom is clean.

I came here for brunch with 5 other people. The place gave me a Panera vibe where you order the food and seat yourself. The menu was honestly terribly laid out and overwhelming to look at. Our food did not come out together and they honestly forgot about one person’s food to the point that we had to flag them down and remind them. By the time they got their food, we were done eating and had put away our dishes. They also brought out the wrong orders for two of us - wrong type of eggs, sausage instead of bacon. The power bowls which are supposed to be vegetarian had sausage in them??? Good thing we were looking when we’re taking bites. The food was bland and required an absurd amount of salt, pepper and hot sauce to make it taste even remotely edible. The rosemary potatoes were overcooked, burnt crumbs. The squash in the power bowls was undercooked and hard. The avocado toast was sad and lacked flavor. The bread was honestly the best part and it barely passed. I don’t know how this place has good reviews cause this experience was honestly a mess. I heavily questioned how that place was being ran.

We were in town for just a few days and ate here twice it was so good. The espresso was good, and the breakfast plate was the best I’d had anywhere in quite some time. The pastries are amazing, service was really friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I wish we had a place like this back home.
