Service was great. We ordered appetizers and had to send back because they were so salty you could not eat them. The entree was not cooked all the way and the shrimp was over cooked. For the money was one of the worst experiences when it came to quality of food.

Every visit is as good as the last. This is one of the most consistent dining experiences we've ever had. We eat at Butch's Dry Dock often and year round! We proudly host guests there and have made many family celebrations memorable events. We've been doing so since our first visit in 2015. We are very proud to recognize Butch's outstanding team.

The service was slower (drinks were prompt, but we didn't get our main courses till almost an hour after we were seated. ) They were lukewarm when they arrived, although still tasty. Butch's is generally good, but this does happen occasionally.

Always start with wonderfully crafted cocktail in the speak easy! Blue crab dip appetizer with some toasted crustiness , split the arugula beet salad, two healthy starters. She had the gnocchi and sea scallops and I had the bistro burger, seared crispy outside and medium rare inside yummy, I subbed asparagus buerre blanc for the fries to stay healthy. Great service great food and wonderful ambience

Sitting at a table by the window on 8th street we enjoyed the hanger steak entree as we talked. While we waited for the entree it would have been nice to have a roll and butter to pick away at since an appetizer just gets to be too much food. But very enjoyable dinner.

Great food, good atmosphere, service was sub-par. Celebrating my sons birthday, put that on the reso, received zero acknowledgement. The server came to the table 4 times, to take our drinks, take our order, check in on food, and to give us the bill. Will not be back based on this experience, too many good restaurants in Holland.
We had amazing cocktails here...perfect French 75. Very good bourbon & liquor selection. We had happy hour snacks - fries & blue crab dip. The fries were a little oily, maybe with the truffle oil, but the dipping sauce/aioli was good. The crab dip was overlooked or dry, definitely not creamy and spreadable. The bartender was very attentive and professional. Atmosphere/ambience is nice, but a downside is the men's restroom in a basement level of the building, not in the restaurant.

Very hit or miss. The restaurant itself was very nice, good ambiance, nice music. The seater was a sweetheart, the server was ok. The food was both good and bad. The crab dip was burnt on the edges and my scallops were raw but the burrata and beet salad was heavenly and Conor’s pork chop was perfection.

Butch's Dry Dock has been around a long time, and we were very pleasantly surprised to find the staff, food, and overall experience is as fresh as ever! Delicious flavors, well-presented and prepared dishes, tasty cocktails, and great wine pairing with entrees. It felt like the team at Butch's were operating at the top of their game. We'll be back again for a date night for certain!

This is a great option in downtown Holland! in good weather, we've loved sitting in the outdoor patio. Last night, we sat in a window seat facing the street (always beautiful). My boyfriend had the salmon - fantastic! I had scallops and gnocchi; also great! I love the fennel citrus salad. The service was attentive and knowledgeable.
