Food was not good. Caesar salad did not use romaine lettuce and dressing tasted nothing like Caesar, no anchovies either—call it something else. Fruit salad with ranch dressing, hardly any fruit and was not ranch dressing—call it something else. Steak was good. Crème Brule was pineapple upside cake! And chocolate souffle was dried out pudding. By the end, we laughing at the absurdity of it all. Will never return. Waitress was super.

Celebrated our anniversary at Butch's Dry Dock! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The server was very knowledgeable, she shared a variety of options. The main course special was halibut - outstanding! We enjoyed the blue crab dip, caesar salad, and scallops. And save room for dessert and coffee, the dark chocolate mousse was exceptional. My husband had the fruit crisp with gelato, another winner. A lovely place to enjoy a special meal. We are looking forward to return.

Butch's had a great selection of drinks, tasty appetizers, and delicious entrees! Our waitress was great and had wonderful suggestions! The filet mignon and gnocchi are phenomenal! My husband and I enjoyed our time here and definitely will be coming back!

There were a few negative reviews and I am not sure why. I had a business dinner here and everything was spot on. The background Musi c was a little loud but everything else was better than expected. The blue crab dip appetizer was very good and my steak pittsburgh style was excellent.

Seated right on time. Great table by windows. Waitress was great. Food was great (hanger steak and chile fish) but a little bit slow coming out of the kitchen. Comped us 2 glasses of cava and served carrot cake with a candle for my companions birthday. All in all a great experience at a fair price.

Was not what we were expecting per previous reviews. We were seated where we constantly heard kitchen noises and orders being called out had difficulty having any sort of conversation Not the kind of atmosphere expected for the cost of meals. Bar rates a 8 Service an 8 but food was a 2. Gnocchi and scallops had only 2 scallops in entire bowl and the Chicken buratta was underseasoned and came with a few Asparus spears. Did not get a meal worth our 100.00 bill. Would not go back.

Oh what a joy it is for Holland to have a restaurant of this stature and brilliance! The ambiance starts with white tablecloths, a rarity in western Michigan, and attention to every detail from the furnishings to napkins and with excellent staff adding to the low key elegance. We've had their verlasso salmon that is perfectly done, their hangar steak with roast vegetables is outstanding, and their several choices of fish are always welcome. One of our favorites is the flat bread with mushrooms, arugula, and goat cheese with a delicious balsamic drizzle. It's a perfect starter with choices from their very well chosen wine list. Now you may have heard it's expensive, but fear not there are plenty of choices on the menu. The quality is far superior to every other restaurant on the street and if you want a fantastic hamburger with excellent truffle fries, you can have that here too. Best burger in town, my husband always says, and when other restaurants charge extra for cheese and toppings, they don't here with best of class quality. Always top of our list for out of town guests and special occasions, or just for an early dinner in the winter to watch the snowflakes fall past the dining room windows. It all makes for a lovely dining experience whenever we're there.

A really good restaurant. Great cocktails and wines during happy hour (4-6pm). Staff was great. I chatted with several locals and tourists during happy hour as I tried various wines and cocktails, and then got a table on the back patio with outdoor seating. Had the burger paired with a really nice Gamay. IMO the best place in town for a nice private dinner, or sitting inside at the bar. First time you go there it is a bit tricky finding the bathroom (but locals had funny stories about it).

Very nice restaurant. Nice interior, lighting & decor, and quiet for it being right in the center of downtown Holland. Walkable to almost anywhere. Food was very good. Our server Kerrie was good.

Lovely ambiance, too high volume on speaker above our table. Hanger steak & salmon were great; but my huge pork chop was boring. All wines were reasonable & excellent. Service was good but paced a little slow.

Out waitress Mary Ann was extremely good. Our first time here on our anniversary and she made it special, including good conversation. Food was excellent....

Always great. Service and food perfect. Our go-to with guests and just a night by ourselves.

Food flavors and cook were spot on. My biggest critique is the amount of food for cost. We got the scallop appetizer and it was pricey for only receiving 2..
