Meh. Looking for a Chinese place in the Holland area, and had heard good and bad about China Inn. I agree. Service was excellent, but could not make up for mediocre to poor food. Hot sour soup was not in the traditional style I am accustomed to, and although I am adventurous with trying new things at new restaurants, I did not like the soup. My order of beef pea pod had so much beef base that it was just not very good. The white rice was good, and fresh, as was the pot of tea, and all was served in good time with friendly and courteous service.

Honestly. We've traveled around the country. This is probably the most tasteless Chinese food we've ever had. Sorry.
It may be a off night. But the Curry chicken had, I kid you not a 12 Oz cup full of onions in it. And no flavor but a little bit of red pepper maybe. The rice didn't seem fully cooked. The veggies were not fully cooked. The crap ragoons were over cooked and almost to hard to eat. The combo lo mein was lacking serious flavor as well.
Sorry guys. Something was definitely not right tonight. I really hope that's not the normal for this place.

My sister and I ordered food from here today and when I started eating my rice, I found a piece of a metal scrubby in it. After that, I couldn’t finish it. So disappointing because the food was good up until that point.

Need to serve the lady first or the gentleman’s food will go cold as they wait for the lady. Even though they had my plate of soup on the tray the waitress gave it to someone else

I’m officially writing my first Google review… And it’s out of sheer horror from the experience that I just had eating from this restaurant. It is the single worst dining experience of my adult life well and my childhood as well. I grew up on tuna casserole, which I would stand in line in the rain naked waiting for before I eat here ever again. I am truly impressed with their consistency. We ordered eight different items all of which were equally horrible that was impressive after a couple sample bites of each everything went in the trash. We love our dogs too much to have fed it to them. In summary, if you like food, I highly recommend you try anywhere else!
