Dont kmow whos running this place now, quality and flavor of food has gone down. Picked up an order on 2/14/25, was told 30 min on phone, actual time was 1 hour before my order was ready. Got the order home and found i was missing two dinners and no rice , never going back.

The atmosphere is the same, nothing new other than smaller sizes and lower quality food from these new owners.

I paid 11.25 for a combination plate and it was 95% rice they spread the food across the plate like it was a lot but wasn't.

Had no idea the owners switch. I only know this because the taste of this Chinese food was awful. Really! I hate to say this but I gave the rest to my dogs. The egg drop soup tasted like water, chicken chow main was over cooked or something the noodles had a sweet taste just overall so disappointed. I live about 45 min away from there and sad to say I will NEVER go back. This makes me so sad because I have been going there for as long as I can remember and followed them in their moves. The food was so bad I don't know if I would ever chance going back.

The person I ordered from was nice. The food was disgusting! If I had a dog I wouldn’t even feed it to him. Paid over $50 for the nastiest food I’ve ever eaten in my life. I never write reviews but I’m hoping by doing so I may save someone from wasting their time, money and stomachs. Nothing was fresh. The fried rice tasted like it was cooked a week ago and reheated every day since. The sesame chicken was hard and dry covered in a mystery sauce my high school lunch ladies wouldn’t even serve. The crab ragoons were stale with very little filling and the egg drop soup tasted expired. I’m slightly worried how the next 24 hours are gona go for me and my kids. The container of red sauce tasted like it was fermenting and could possibly cause a buzz if consumed. Please take my advice and hit up the China inn on the north side where you will be met with amazing service and the best Chinese food you could ask for.

I’ve been coming here for years, I was such a huge fan of the dumplings. I haven’t had it in a few years due to some health issues but went and got it today and the fried rice was very bland and the veggies did not taste cooked, did they change the dumplings bc they were not what i remember I feel like there was more pork in them…those tasted like ones you get from the frozen section at the store. The sweet and sour chicken tho was very good!

They have really good Chinese food here, but I prefer the north side China Inn better. I will point out that this is an express restaurant, so the atmosphere and seating definitely leave something to be desired, but I always get take out. You won't be disappointed by the food, which is classic Chinese.

Everything was delicious. I had no complaints at all.
The only thing I would say bad about the Restaurant would be don't tell the customers to call in advance to let them know how many in there party. Because when the customer shows up and informs the worker that you called and made arrangements and gave a count for your party. But then in return the employee turns to you and tells you we don't take reservations ? But honestly this place , food , service , was amazing thank you. I will definitely come back again with my family .

Parking: It can get really packed. First come first serve.

Kid-friendliness: It had a lot of kid choices on food , deserts , drinks , etc.

Food wasn't ready on time. The Rangoons were horrible tasting. The beef and broccoli was pretty good. The fortune cookies were stale.

Food overpriced and lacking flavor. Fried Rice did not look fresh and got 6 large chunks (not bite size) of overbattered Pork for my Sweet & Sour.

Our family has been going to China Inn on the Southside for years and loved it. Unfortunately the last few times have been horrible. It’s been two times that I did not receive my sweet and Sour sauce for my Sweet and Sour Chicken combination dinner. The chicken is so dry you can barely chew it. The Crab Rangoons taste very old, the rice is extremely dry. We thought maybe they were having just an “off” day, but several orders later, the quality is still disappointing. For the price, we will sadly not be going back.

I walked in today expecting to see the familiar faces of the other owners, and well I seen it might be new owners ,but I said I'm gonna try what I came for anyway which was the wonton soup....and I'm so happy I did! It was so good ,fresh ingredients and nice and hot, it was the best wonton soup I've ever had!

Asked for plastic ware on a pick and was bluntly told "no" even though they had some sitting behind the counter. Too cheap for that? Where else are they skimping.
