I dropped by Colin’s Bakery just to give it a try. It’s a basic little Mexican bakery, but the quality seemed good to me. All of the baked goods I tried were excellent, and the tart that was filled with maybe custard was easily my favorite. I’m not quite sure what it was since there weren’t any labels, but I’ll have to ask next time. The staff seemed helpful and friendly, so I’m sure they’d be willing to explain. This bakery is a bit out of the way, so I hope they get business to keep going. Holland never seems like it has as many bakeries as it should.

No one to help me when I came in Another customer showed me how the self service worked. When the employee finally showed up she spoke zero English so we communicated with hand gestures. I bought pastries which were average at best. I won't be back.
My husband stopped in to get pan for breakfast. All the bread wad so hard and tasted old. Cashier never greets, acts like she's mad. Won't be going back.

Great pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread)! Service is a little difficult when the cashier doesn't know much English. But she was sweet and we figured it out.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible in the front. There is a step.

Absolutely marvelous baked goods! ? our new stop for every Holland beach day. ⛱️ I Piggy shaped gingerbread, thick jelly roll, custard/cheesecake tarts!
Kid-friendliness: My son was so excited, he could hardly choose; the staff was super friendly and explained all the options to him.

How is this place not known all over? Even the locals barely know about this bakery!I finished a stressful week at work and wanted to reward myself with a sweet treat or donut. As it was towards the end of the day, many shops were about to close and I didn't want a crusty old donut. I was searching through Google and saw that Colin's had great reviews and it closed at 6:30.The bakery is hidden away in what appears to be a bit of an industrial location. It shares space with a small car lot and if it didn't have a sign, you would not know it's there. Upon entry, it smelled amazing. It's small, and there are many units with goodies in them. It's self-serve, they have clean serving trays and clean tongs. You take one of each and place your selection on the tray and then take it up to the counter. They box it up and you pay. Then on your way.During the time I was there, there was a steady stream of people going in and out. The owner (?) came out from behind, greeted me, and told me the young man up front could answer any questions I had. It looks like it's either family run because of the homey feel.I had a full large box that I took home and it was very very reasonably priced. The full box was less than 20 dollars. If I were to buy 2-3 of the items I had in that box by my place, easily at least $10 just for 2-3 items. What I also loved about this place is that it had more than donuts and conchas (Mexican sweet bread). Though they have different names for the pastries, they essentially had European style pastries as well as others that I'm not familiar with.Definitely coming back for my sweet fixes.

Bought a cake yesterday from the display case. Got home and was so excited to try because I love tres leches cake! Cake was dry and was not appetizing the flavor was really sour I felt like that cake had been sitting there for at least a week.? 57$ gone to waste. Won’t be going here again! I’ll just stick to Ramirez
