About Crane's In The City

Crane's In The City is a charming restaurant in downtown Holland, offering a cozy "grandma's house" ambiance with mismatched wooden tables and chalkboard signs. The menu features a variety of delicious sandwich options, including the chicken salad sandwich and the famous Monte Cristo, served with tasty chips. There is also an impressive display of pastries and baked goods, with a great variety of traditional pies, crisps, and crumbles available for both dine-in and take-home. Their fresh, hot cider and cider doughnuts are a must-try, and the sparkling apple cider is especially refreshing. The chocolate pecan pie stands out as well. Visitors praise the apple crisp, which is dairy-free and incredibly tasty, and the rhubarb and raspberry pie, considered the best around. The staff are very knowledgeable about ingredients, friendly, and helpful, even during busy times. While service can be slow, it’s often worth the wait for a charming lunch or a fall snack. Prices are reasonable, with two pieces of delicious pie costing about $10, making it a fun and affordable local spot. Gluten-free options are also available, making this restaurant a great place for everyone to enjoy homemade treats and handmade pies.

I went with my husband for anniversary date night & got the Greatest service! It literally was a 📝 Note worthy encounter! Faolan helped make our experience there one of a kind by matching my hot cocoa mug ☕️ match my fun purse! 👜
And the chocolate pecan pie was beyond words! We WILL be back!
Thanks again Faolan, you are a treasure!

It is very good but I’m a little bummed. I purchased a cinnamon roll to go yesterday and when I started eating it I found nuts in it. Thankfully I am not allergic but many in my family are and this would have sent them to the hospital. Needs to be ingredients on the packaging I think.
