This was delicious! Detroit style and house salad hit the spot after a day on the beach. Tasty, not heavy, and really fairly priced. Felt local without being tourist-trappy.

Doebs’ artisan thin crust pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! My wife and I ordered The Chi, which was pepperoni, sausage, onions, and peppers. The crust was perfectly fired, crispy on the edges, and a lite chew. Just right! The toppings were very generous but the right ratio. The sauce reminded me of Rao’s marinara, which is my fav as well. Our friends ordered the Talkin’ SMAC, which is spinach, mushroom, Alfredo and chicken. It was also 🔥. They also do a Detroit style, which I’d like to go back and try. If you’ve got 2 big eaters, the artisan crust is a great size, but it easily feeds 3 adults. We had 3 pieces left over, as did our friends. Try it out. It’s great!

My favorite pizza store in Holland. The hand tossed are excellent, chewy and light at the same time. Hawaiian is so good, with really good ham/bacon not sliced deli meat. But after we had the Philly Steak sandwiches is hard to order anything else. Might be the best I've ever had. The bread on their sandwiches is really good.

Staff was very inviting and helpful l! Pizza was delicious and fresh.
The steak and cheese sub is sublime and fantastic. Came back the next day so my kid could have one too, and it was just as good. I ordered the Italian beef this time, and while the flavor was perfect, and the ingredients were fantastic, it was served on the same undersized roll as the steak and cheese, and it was basically a casserole. I tried to lift the sandwich out of the tray, and the two pieces of bread, simply came out in my hands, leaving the rest of the ingredients sitting on a piece of soggy bread, which was stuck to the tinfoil. This was extremely disappointing, as I could not actually eat a sandwich. I had to get a fork and knife and literally eaten my sandwich as a casserole. Note that I’m still giving this Place five stars, because I talked with the order for a bit and the food is fantastic. They just need to fix the way they serve the Italian beef sandwich. I’d recommend getting a proper east coast style crusty sub roll, which can stand up to all the ingredients.

Haven’t been here before tonight. I’ve eaten pizza in many places and several states. I’ve eaten pizza and focaccia in Italy, where I’ve spent full months at a time the past six years. I’ve made my own pizza. Nothing, and I mean nothing, compares to this. Ok, having pizza in Italy does. But wow. I’ve never had better pizza in the states in any form: flatbread, hand-tossed, this crust, Chicago style, etc, etc. This is my new favorite place. I’ll be back.

I can't say enough good things about Doebs. Some of the best pizzas I have ever had in my life, and we are more than willing to drive the 40 minutes from Grand Haven to get it. Service is always friendly and on point. Get this pizza, and you will not be disappointed.
