Nadines Fish tips n Wings

Everything tasted good except coleslaw. It had a slimy texture and tasted spoiled. Wish you could choose one of the other sides instead of only fries and coleslaw. Wish they had family size pack where you could just purchase fish, wings, links or ribs without the fries. Maybe family size sides to choose from especially their mac n cheese. This would be easier to purchase to go for a big family.

Just saying options could improve and food quality too.

Not very nice people. Owner is very rude and dismissive. The guy frying the food, picked up a fry that dropped on the counter with his bare hands and put it back in the container. Then these same fries were sitting on the counter for about 5:32 seconds (I know because I was looking at the red timer) while waiting for the chicken to come out of the fryer. I asked him to drop the fries in the grease so they could be hot like the other food. He did drop them in the grease but gave an attitude while doing so. Said that he’s not supposed to do that😕He bagged the food up finally and tries to send me on my way. I pointed and said, Those are my chili cheese fries there. I had to remind them about the chili cheese fries added to the order. Owner gets snappy with me. Says they know what they’re doing. Obviously not. You’re missing food and food should come out together not waiting in the cool air. It’s not like you have it under a warmer. Nobody wants cold fries. If you can’t take feedback from customers and the like, how do you expect to improve your business? Respect the customers wishes. People want HOT FOOD!
Stop serving lukewarm food to the community. and employees shouldn’t touch people’s food without gloves. 🫩

P.S. Your portions are small and high priced.

If you’re anywhere near Holland, go to Nadine’s. Seriously. We ordered the Philly and three Italian Beef sandwiches, and every single one was spot-on. The Italian Beef? Perfectly balanced. Not drowning, not dry, not that sloppy mess you regret halfway through — just tender beef, great flavor, and the exact right size so you actually enjoy the whole thing.

And the coleslaw… listen. I don’t hand out slaw praise lightly. This is clearly homemade, bright, fresh, just the right amount of tang. It’s the kind of slaw that makes you annoyed at all the sad, mushy slaws you’ve eaten before.

The Philly, though — that one made me pause. It tastes like someone back there has actually been to Philly and cared enough to get it right: great roll, real flavor, not just peppers-onions-cheese in name only.

Nadine’s is doing something special. If you want sandwiches made with actual intention and taste — go. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Nadine‘s for a few years now. What I love the most about them is that they are that little golden nugget food spot that is better than all the big food chains that every town has one of. In Holland, it’s Nadine’s. They will customize your orders for you. For example, I once wanted a cheddar Steak sandwich like they make at Arby’s but Nadine style instead of a Philly steak and Larry made it no problem. Larry is the owner and he cares about his business very much, I get that vibe every time I go eat there. The food is incredible, and the people are friendly. Definitely worth looking into.

Wow, what an amazing experience! Greg and Larry made me feel right at home especially having come from out of town. The catfish tasted incredibly fresh, the food was hot, and sports were on the tv. We plan to be regulars here!

My 4 year old daughter wanted a chicken and waffle meal and they said it was a special they no longer have and the guy working said let me see what I can do and he made my daughter a Mickey mouse pancake and she loved it I thought it was so sweet of him and I highly recommend the food we got the rib tips a Chicago style dog and all was very good we will definitely be coming back

Got the 4pc Catfish, good portion for the price. Didn’t care for the fries too much but was pleasantly surprised with the fish. Excited to try other stuff off the menu!

Family and I came in while passing through for the tulips, and so glad we did! Recognized from the smell that we made the right choice. 10/10 for atmosphere because the owner showed genuine kindness to other people while we were there. Definitely the kind of restaurant I want to be in. Customer service was great, food was quick, hot and delicious. Legit Chicago soul food. We got the wings, tips, fried catfish and hot links. Sauce is very important to me, and theirs had me going for every drop on the plate.

Nadine’s was such a treat! We are visiting Holland for the first time and wanted to check this place out.

The catfish was breaded perfectly, crispy and juicy and so fresh tasting. The mac n cheese is house made and had a great a depth of flavor. Fries super crispy. Tartar and bbq sauce so good.

The owner was super friendly and welcoming. He had our order out fast.

Went here for the first time this past week. Will absolutely be back. Got the 4oz rib tips. Meat was tender and very filling. Fries were hot and seasoned well. It was a perfect amount of food. And all for less than $10??? Insane. Can’t wait to try more of the menu!!
