Like many Dutch People, Russ expects you to "follow the rules" They have coupons for meat dishes, but salads are not entrees. A $15 salad is an entree in my opinion. Great service and food, but Russ's needs to friendly to those who buy the Champs books. As a local Holland restaurant, I am going elsewhere like Papa Romanos or 'Village Inn. Do not like the "The old Dutch Approach. Russ's let's the Information Techology Dept run the business, not serve the customer.

Order food online at 11:45 was told it would be ready at 12:10. Arrived at Russ's at 12:05 and didn't even see an associate until 12:15 then was told we don't have what you ordered do you want this or that. Can I just get my money back at this point?

Very affordable and quaint place for a bite to eat or sit to chat up with friends or whatever. I did notice how clean and how organized the bathrooms are in the mornings. I've not really gone in the afternoons or nights but I appreciate the morning staff and how professional they are. Our server was amazingly professional and responsive too! I loved the service so much. The tables in the mornings are so clean, the salad and soup bar was nice and tidy with no crumbs or unclean utensils to serve. The atmosphere was okay. It's more so the other patrons in there that are a bunch of old folks that don't like talking that's too loud or kids. If you have kids or a large family, be aware that there's moving but old white Dutch people and they like their space and silence 🔕

We went for the Saturday morning breakfast buffet. We arrived around 10:30am. Buffet went till 12:00 pm. Every was empty. Eggs were dried up and green. I had to ask for things to be stocked. Definitely not worth $14.00.

I love Russ's restaurant. My Grandma and I would visit the one in Battle Creek back in the 1990's. Now my husband and I drive to Holland. The soup,salad and baked potato bar is a favorite, always too many soups to choose from! Lately I've been getting the grilled meatloaf. Some day we need to come and just have dessert, usually we are too full. But they have many options,my go-to is the apple dumpling. Service is always top notch .
Ordered on line. Got there they didn't know about it. They were out of chili and second choice. Onion rings used to be top notch now a soggy mess. Made a burger tried to rush it to make up for the wait. Bad idea. Totally disappointed

Guys’ breakfast before family wedding. Sectioned off a portion of the restaurant for our 10 guys. Typical diner breakfast offers, done very well. We didn’t wait long for our meals. Coffee was on the table and the waitress did very well serving us.
