Order food online at 11:45 was told it would be ready at 12:10. Arrived at Russ's at 12:05 and didn't even see an associate until 12:15 then was told we don't have what you ordered do you want this or that. Can I just get my money back at this point?

Very affordable and quaint place for a bite to eat or sit to chat up with friends or whatever. I did notice how clean and how organized the bathrooms are in the mornings. I've not really gone in the afternoons or nights but I appreciate the morning staff and how professional they are. Our server was amazingly professional and responsive too! I loved the service so much. The tables in the mornings are so clean, the salad and soup bar was nice and tidy with no crumbs or unclean utensils to serve. The atmosphere was okay. It's more so the other patrons in there that are a bunch of old folks that don't like talking that's too loud or kids. If you have kids or a large family, be aware that there's moving but old white Dutch people and they like their space and silence 🔕
Kid-friendliness: Not recommended to go during breakfast time if you have kids just because of the old folks and their whining

We went for the Saturday morning breakfast buffet. We arrived around 10:30am. Buffet went till 12:00 pm. Every was empty. Eggs were dried up and green. I had to ask for things to be stocked. Definitely not worth $14.00.

I love Russ's restaurant. My Grandma and I would visit the one in Battle Creek back in the 1990's. Now my husband and I drive to Holland. The soup,salad and baked potato bar is a favorite, always too many soups to choose from! Lately I've been getting the grilled meatloaf. Some day we need to come and just have dessert, usually we are too full. But they have many options,my go-to is the apple dumpling. Service is always top notch .

Ordered on line. Got there they didn't know about it. They were out of chili and second choice. Onion rings used to be top notch now a soggy mess. Made a burger tried to rush it to make up for the wait. Bad idea. Totally disappointed

Food was O-K. Although, it's probably my own fault; the whole, food only being 'O-K'. 😆 My bf and I got take-out fries, onion rings, and chicken tenders. The fries & onion rings were good, but they were quite soggy, but I'm led to believe that the reason for this is that they were sitting in the Styrofoam carry-out boxes for, I'm guessing, a good 10-15 minutes, due to the fact that we were lacking in our being punctual this afternoon. Also got a stomach ache & was quite nauseous a few hours after eating their food. But, the rings were very greasy and I try to stay away from greasy things. Hence, I will therefore give them the benefit of the doubt and blame my weak stomach, as well as our being late. 👍😊👍💯😆🫶🤘✌️♥️
