Arrived with hopes of having braised short rib … at 5:15 told they didn’t have any 😬 How!?Early evening- So settled on the whitefish☹️ The pictures that people posted of the whitefish looked so good- Mine looked nothing like their pics- The portion was large, slightly thick but lacked any flavor- Can’t taste the crab and loaded on top with burnt fried potato crisps- strong burnt flavor-The sauce is sparse and drizzled on the wood board but none on the fish- but to get any you have to push aside the load of burnt potato crisps and then get a very small smear of it- It was the only thing that added flavor to fish- Not worth the $34 -
Definitely will try some place else tomorrow night-

I recently dined at Restaurant 76 in Holland, and I have to say, it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—perfect for a nice meal out.
The menu has so many great options, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed their seafood dishes, which had such fresh flavors and creative twists. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients they use.
What stood out to me was the service. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It really added to the overall experience.
If you’re in Holland and looking for a nice place to eat, I highly recommend checking out Restaurant 76. I’m definitely looking forward to going back and trying more of their dishes!

Limited and expensive menu. We were there on a Saturday night at 6:45 PM and they ran out of 2 entrees, 1 after we ordered. $1 up charge for a tomato on a $21 burger. They also ran out of fountain soda. It was quite noisy.

The food was delicious and the service was good. It's a bit pricey but it's a nice place to go for a special treat!

The Beet Burrata, Lump Crab Rangoons, and Thai Marinated Flank Steak were excellent. Great recommendation from a local friend. I'd definitely stop in again and recommend to anyone. Service was great, and everyone was very friendly. Menu had a great variety of options so should be able to please most anyone. In the off season we were able to just walk in and get a table as there's plenty of seating, but I would expect needing a reservation in the busy season. Looked like the room in the back could be used for private events as well. I'd happily come back!

I’ll preface this review with the fact that we did not have a reservation with that being said, we were seated back in the private dining area.
Because we were on the private dining area, we missed out on the lively atmosphere in the dining room. It was eerily quiet back there, and it seemed like our server was constantly forgetting us because he had tables in the main dining room.
We had the calamari appetizer and it was absolutely outstanding. We also had the whitefish and the New York strip.
The whitefish was wonderful, but it was drowning in the hollandaise sauce. I had to scrape most of it off because it was overwhelming.
The New York strip was prepared as expected. It was a good steak, but not a great steak. The fries that came with the steak were wonderful. They were crispy on the outside soft in the middle and the Parmesan cheese on top was really nice.

Visited Holland from out of town. Came here with my husband and our 2 year old for lunch — despite the farmers market down the street, the restaurant was not too busy. While there isn’t a kids’ menu or booster seats available, they did have kid-friendly plates not listed on the menu. The food was great — fresh flavors, adequate portioning, fair price for the quality. Loved the avocado & tortilla salad with blackened shrimp. Excellent service. Atmosphere was cool & inviting — I would not bring a gaggle of rambunctious children but our toddler did fine and enjoyed her grilled cheese and fries.

I have been to 76 for lunch a few times and had a wonderful experience. I wish I could say the same about the dinner experience. They messed up our reservation, but fixed it within 10 minutes, waitress paid little to no attention to our table...we would have ordered another round of drinks. My entree was so excessively salty I sent it back. The rest of my party delt with the salt in same and a similar entree, but agreed it was a lot. My replacement entree (a different dish) was not as salty but lack luster given it was one of the specials of the evening. Just general meh and a huge disappointment after speaking so highly of the place to our friends and spending $200 for dinner.

Nice atmosphere and appetizers were good as well as the wedge salad. Dinner for all six of us was disappointing and we all had something different. Service was really lacking. Had to ask for everything including silverware multiple times. And for example, they gave us 4 appetizer plates when clearly we were a party of 6! Needless to say we spent a great deal of money on food and drinks but did not have a good experience in return. Won't be visiting again.

OMG! OK, I know the prices have been increasing overall but $21 for a burger with one tiny piece of wilted lettuce? That is criminal! Hopcat has a better burger with great toppings for much less or go to Reservoir for their Harry Shroomin burger. Service was also very slow. I will never go back!

I'm only giving this 3 stars because of the way the server handled the situation I'm about to describe. First time in and liked the menu, etc. I found on-line. Ordered the braised short rib. When it arrived there was a sauce on the dish I wasn't expecting. Tasted it and it obviously contained horseradish. I don't like horseradish and always look for it in meal descriptions. There was no mention in the meal description (there was in another menu item that I might have ordered, but it did in fact mention horseradish). There wasn't a lot, so I scraped it off and put it to the side and ate the meal (I questioned whether I just missed it in the menu descrption). I checked the menu on-line and rechecked the physical mention--no mention of horseradish in the dish. To be fair, the short rib was excellent, as were the other elements of the dish. When I asked our server about this, he blamed it on a mistake in the printing of the menu, claiming they had printed new menus and the old ones used to have the horseradish sauce listed. Perhaps.... However, what I am seemingly supposed to believe is that I'm the first one to bring this up. Call me skeptical. He did say he would mention it to future customers ordering that dish (glad I could help) While this is not a high end restaurant, it's not a budget restaurant either ($100 for two main dishes, two drinks, no appetizers and no dessert). Call me crazy, but I expected the server to offer some form of compensation, (I ate the meal, I wasn't expecting him to fully comp it). Complimentary dessert maybe? A percentage off? Sorry--this was very poor customer relations for what is clearly the restaurants error.
