The appetizers came very late to the extent they had it to give it on the house. We asked for warm water and ordered a beer it came after 30 minutes. The waitress seemed like a deer seeing a headlight when one of our members asked to suggest good vegetarian entrees to the extent the experience was unpleasant. My wife ordered cheese burger which came with fires the fries were over seasoned just too much salt and we are not talking preferences here it seemed like a big mistake.our other guest ordered a salad and I should say the salad is a hybrid between a deconstructed salad and a proper salad did not expect that. The guacamole appetizer is just ok if you have tried very good guacamole outside in Mexican restaurants there is nothing to write home about. We went there as a celebration for my wife’s birthday so did not get the experience or value we were looking for thankfully we had an amazing ice cream near this restaurant

Nice place. They try hard to be hip. The food is decent, a bit high in price. I recommend reservations and getting there earlier if you can. They may run out of some dishes. I would have liked to try the bacon wrapped dates, but they were out. We did the crab rangoon instead. It was average. Everything we tried was pretty good- the best might actually have been the beef short rib cheese sandwich. That was solid. My pork chop was ok- decent size and flavorful, but a little more dry than I'd like for 30 bucks. Their hash was fantastic- well seasoned and crispy. The fish sandwich and fries were acceptable. Our drinks, the staff, and the atmosphere made for a good experience.Vegetarian options: YesDietary restrictions: GF options alsoKid-friendliness: There is a kid menuWheelchair accessibility: No

We had 7:30 dinner reservations on Saturday. They had 2 dinner specials and were out before we even ordered. Poor planning for sure. Our servers were slow and didn't seem to care. I had to clear our appetizers out of the way for dinner plates. The servers don't clear plates I was told. I then ask that the plates be removed as there was no room on our small table. The food was ok but not worth the price. No we probably won't be back.

First time visit. Recommended by a friend. Glad we went. Started with a generous pour of my cocktail and a very professional and knowledgeable waitress. My wife's steak was cooked exactly like she wanted it and I enjoyed my whitefish entree. No dessert but a fun evening!

Our server was great! The drinks were creative and delicious. I highly recommend the goat cheese queso and braised short ribs. The only negative was the short rib grilled cheese sandwich. There was too much American cheese, it overpowered the Gouda and short rib meat.

Small-town atmosphere and service with Chicago prices $$$. Constructively, I want to say that this place is not cozy at all. The decor is basic, the chairs are tough and they keep the inside temperature pretty low in winter. Cocktails are average and service is not the best, but since they are always full --because there are very few options in town-- I guess it is probably hard for them to recognize it. On the positive side, I have to say that I have tried a couple of great fish dishes on the menu :)

This was by far the worst dining experience that I've ever had. We had a reservation and were seated promptly and that was the end of any service we received. It was obvious from the minute that we were seated, our server had zero interest in serving us. She wasn't just disinterested in good service, she seemed annoyed to have a table at all. The entire night she was doing “drop and bolts”. She would bring something to the table, not ask if we needed anything and bolt away. The food took forever. Table behind us waited and waited for any service and ended up getting up and leaving. Disappointing.

The food was delicious and our server was excellent. It is so refreshing to talk to a server that really likes what he is doing and appreciates his employer and his fellow employees.

Perfect night out in downtown Holland. Well worth it. We've gone there for years, and we will continue to go there for years ahead, barring we don't move to another country.

Met a dear friend for lunch, and the menu offered a wonderful and eclectic set of options. The service was impeccable. I was pleased to not feel rushed by restaurant staff at the end of our meal, and will keep coming back.

Despite a few mixups with food and ordering, it was generally a lovely evening. The team could improve by allowing those splitting entrees to have them plated in the kitchen, rather than asking the guest to do it table side. Portions were good, quality was spot on and the Serving team was knowledgeable about what to recommend
