I LOVE THIS PLACE. I try to eat there every other week because for a while Tamales plus was all I ate. Every employee I've encountered is always so kind and thoughtful. They ask all the right questions and get your order out in a timely manner. I can't believe this place isn't always packed it's truly the best part of Holland. They have never let me down with an order. I do wish they had elote on the menu and chorizo BUT they are still my favorite. ?

A colorful little neighborhood diner.. Gac was great! Steak tacos (soft corn shell) were delicious with generous portions. Each taco has two tortillas and enough filling to make two out of them! Simple, clean place with delicious gac and tacos. Nice staff made for a relaxed atmosphere.

This is an automatic 5⭐ in all but one category I was given a unique opportunity to be in the owner's life before this business was started and I got to taste the tamales before but I will say my baby Mama's Family's tamales are better one of the owners who I used to work would sold tamales at work that his wife would make and they would always come wrapped beautifully in paper now to be honest it is 2024 and nowhere near enough people have visited this restaurant or bought stuff from it I have not had the opportunity because I am financially poor to explore all of their menu and I have only been there once as respect to the owner and I would absolutely love to try the entire menu before going any further into this review I do take them as being far more across the border then On The Border this is not American food but food where America came from
Heard about this place and really was excited to eat there, and when we walked in it was very nice place, I am not going to complain the food was good but honestly the tacos were so small it was almost cheap, I mean we paid a premium price for these and they were ridiculous small and I just don't know what is up with that, seriously? that is NOT real Tacos guys

The Tamales are sooooo good and everything is so reasonably priced. My lunch was delicious and the service was excellent. I live in Chicago but I’d drive back just for these Tamales!

I’ll definitely be back for more tacos and the agua fresca. I throughly enjoyed the steak tacos with the Mango, orange, and pineapple agua Fresca. I want the recipe ?!

The tip should be based on the service provided by the waitstaff, not in addition to the government's tax on the meal or credit card processing fee.

Not worth the price, the taste just isn’t there. I have had way better Mexican food for far less price. It’s not even about the price, just give me value for my money, which wasn’t there. Everything you buy is charged and they don’t even have a house made salsa. I do not recommend going here.

It's hard to give a local taco joint less than five stars and that's how I feel about Tamales Plus, which I probably visit every other month. The tamales are great, as the name implies, but you can't go wrong with tacos, either. They have sweet tamales, as well, which isn't really my thing, but I've had their flan and that deserves a shout.Tamales Plus is a litttttttle bit outside of downtown so maybe not as popular as other places, but the prices are great, the food has never disappointed and they're also fairly quick whenever I order online.

This place is legit. My wife and I came here on a Saturday and got the vegan tamales and vegan burrito. I highly recommend checking this place out. The food was delicious, the portions were great and the service was lovely. We even got a dozen tamales to take home with us! We will definitely come back next time we are in the area!
