The restaurant is alright, but the grocery store is a different story. My fiancee sent me there to get fajita meat. I explained exactly what we wanted, but was treated like a d*** white boy and gave some overpriced meat that was wrapped up and wasn't anything close to what I asked for. Save that '**** white boy" attitude for the bigots and racists in this town. I mean I've only been going there for food for 17 years!

Nowhere else in town comes close. This place uses higher quality ingredients. If they don’t make their tortillas from scratch then they’ve got me fooled. They taste every bit as good as those made by friend from Ciudad Juarez who’s family has been making them for untold generations. They don’t bother with “hot” or “mild” salsa here. It’s as hot as the chef wants and it comes in green or red. Further, there are no plates or bowls for the chips and salsa because you’re only going to want a few drops on every chip. Drip it on yourself. And don’t expect your meat to be precut for you. You’re not a baby bird needing prechewed food. The meat comes hot off the skillet. Cut it yourself. And, while the menus are bilingual and the wait staff sort of speaks English, this is a Mexican restaurant. Everyone grew up speaking Spanish. This place is an offshoot of a Mexican grocery store, run and staffed by wonderful Mexicans. If you want Americanized Mexican this place is not for you. If you want Tex Max this place is not for you. If you want Mexican, though, this place is the best around, by far!

This review is for the grocery store . I have shopped there several times. Each time all I receive is just very inhospitable looks on their faces. No smile. No welcoming greeting. Go to check out and never got a word from any of them. Especially the younger girls. Very stuck up. Very nasty attitude. I know I'm not the only person that they are this way towards. People I know have said the same things about them. I guess they think that they don't have to be nice to their shoppers because they're doing so well with the business. Well, guess what ? all it takes is just one person to burst your bubbles. There are other mexican grocery stores that I can, and anyone else can go to instead. The only person who's kind and helpful at this place is a younger gentleman that works behind the meat counter. He has lots of tattoos ,and pretty cute too. He's the only reason they even got a star.

This is our go-to for authentic Mexican food. The carne asada tacos are pretty much a staple in our house. The enchiladas verdes (with chicken) is spicy and loaded with chicken. We’ve been coming here for over a decade. We’ve had their food at open houses and other large gatherings. We mostly order to-go, but there is always a good crowd eating in. It is not your typical Mexican restaurant with lots of color and atmosphere, but we don’t care, as long as the food is good!
