I this is Kathy reviews expert coming in from Holland Michigan in a small little hole in the wall restaurant that is not named for what it shows advertised the name of the restaurant is La Makana but they also serve Vienna hotdogs and Polish I do have to say that the staff here was very friendly and welcoming and also the food was at my house I’m going to include a few pictures on this review so that you can see just how well the food looks now keep in mind we did come in late at night near closing time but yet the gentleman was still very very welcoming And forthcoming and inviting us into the restaurant to go ahead and eat as my husband and I are travelers truck drivers and I would say as you can see my rating I’m giving them a five star not only for the food that was served but also for staff. When I asked the young lady about a certain Hispanic Mexican dessert that they provide she was so informative and it was very easy to understand what she was explaining and explaining about the desert as a matter fact it enticed me so much that I’m going to try it so I’m gonna see if I can quickly get the name of the man who owns the establishment and the young lady who took care of us while we were waiting for our food

This what you will see most people in the city eat. This is where people on lunch who needs something fast cheap and delicious good. Basic menu that meets your needs.
After a zoo visit, this was the perfect spot for 18 people, three generations of our family to have a relatively tasty lunch while allowing the kids to be kids! The food was just a notch above average..... great snap in the hot dog casing, rosen’s buns with seeds, average crinkle cut frozen fries and very good sandwiches. Pastrami was especially enjoyed as was salami. All were happy, could be themselves and we walked out spending about $100 to feed our small army! Lots of tastier hot dog places, but none with such a large seating area, free parking and good food!

The Mecca of Hot Dogs!! You literally are going to the source of all Chicago Hotdogs!!! Cannot get any fresher hotdogs anywhere in the city; straight off the conveyor belt!! The hotdogs, italian beefs,and fries are amazing!! They have a cool museum of the history of Vienna beef here too! If you love hotdogs; you have to come here!!

It is cafeteria style. I got there at lunch time and the place was full of laborers on lunch break. I had a great Chicago dog and the best Chicago Polish Sausage that I have ever had. The food is very good and they have other things besides dogs. The place is clean and bright.
